I used to be the kind of guy that hardly have any asthma attack in a year, I might not use my drug or inhaler for upto 6months. But nowadays I use my drug everyday and night. Breathing has been become a big issue, I can't turn on the fan in my room or stay in a well ventilated room cos I'll start feeling uneasy.
Though the only period of the year that I usually get attacks more often is during CORN/MAIZE period but this asthma is a lot different, anything triggers it easily.

it is a sign it is not well controlled, first avoid cold weather, since u kno dust is a trigger, are ur rooms clean, what about d bedsheet, pillows. what do u do?

once all d primary issue has been addressed den make u will need another inhaler with stronger action. what type of inhaler do u use. is it ventolin or seretide

my room is clean, always clean. Even the buglary is partially opened. I use Ventolin inhaler.

op make sure u always cover up ur chest. take hot tea mostly in the evening to free ur airway. Avoid taking cold water. the weather is cold so it will always trigger the attack. All u can do for now is minimize it b4 u knw u will stop using ur inhaler for some time again. if u r coughing get a good cough syrup. Don't take overdose of the inhaler in order not to make ur self uncomfortable.

Be mindful of medication without doctors prescription. Did you change environment? e.g have you relocated lately/ Is your environment dusty? See a doctor and follow your routine of Piriton, Prednisolone & salbutamol/inhaler. Avoid stress. Take care

I put up a thread of how different ailments can be treated using forever living products on nairaland, but it was deleted by d moderators thinking my motive was to make money.
