my dear, steer clear the G's and T's. These phones have a reason for being so cheap. Get ASUS ZenFone 5 or LG nexus 5.( small but powerful battery) And if ur on a low budget, Get Asus Fe170CG ( A tab with 4000mAh battery. Only on with this tab is its camera)

that's wrong! if you use Tecno and Infinix in the same situation, they must be worse.

what matters the battery depeciate,it's about the battery charging heating, and how many circles of battery being charged.
the more battery charging heating occured and the more times you charged the battery, the battery capacity will be gradually little decreased more, but not affect the usning. that's the real reason.
if you use Tecno, infinix, Lenovo, Sony, HTC they are same face the same problem. it's the Li-ion battery problem, not the phone marker.
but Gionee is dedicated on making the durable phone, so they choose the better battery cell from LG&Sony, they are the best battery vendor in the world, that's why gionee durable phone famous and popular in Nigeria.

Lol, funny you, every lithium ion battery does that. But when you overwork your processor like the G's and the T's does, the effect is always on the battery. So gionee figured that out and rolled out a larger ba3. So long the processor is overworked, the ba3 will depreciate rapidly.

This people should learn to use another processor, Intel, Qualcomm or snapdragon or reduce the phone specs, I.e. display, camera quality, outputs etc..

Ever wondered why its coming with such a large ba3 or why most of these phones come with powerbanks? Their processors are not strong enough.

actually i think you misunderstand the processor, for example intel processor is just strong in Computer industry but when they entered into phone processor industry, they can't reduce the power consumption. so that's why intel processor can't success as Qualcomm and MediaTek.

let me introduce Qualcomm and MediaTek for you. They are the well-known processor chipset maker. in early time of smartphone, Qualcomm market share is manily in the high-end peocessor like Snapdragon S800 series, like S800/S801, but when they high-end processor update to 64bit processor like S810/S820,they can't manage the processor with low power consumption with Octa core.
so that's why this year the flagship using Snapdragon S810 launched very late such as one plus 2, Oppo find 9(havn't luanched yet), because they faces the face high power consumption, and heating problem with Qualcomm S810. That's also the root reason of LG G4 use S808 not S810, because LG G4 would rather sacrifice some performance, prefer to launch their yearly flagship timely to hold the market share.

while Mediatek in the early time dedicate in middle to low end processor, they bulit in the Modem chipset together with Modem such as MT6572/MT6582/MT6589/MT6592/MT6597, so they made the R & D costing low, some small phone maker also pleased to use mediatek chipset. but when the processor developed in 64bit and 4G time, Mediatek start to make high end processor such as Helio X10(MT6795)/Helio X20(MT6797), and also their middle end processor like MT6735/MT6752/MT6753. This new processor driving far less power consumption and greater efficiency.

here i can share d two company website for reference:

back to this question about the "reduce the phone specs, I.e. display, camera quality, outputs etc.."
I will explain more as below:
1. except processor, the phone hardware comsumpt power , the fisrt is display, then the mobile signal modem chipset.
the camera doesn't affect the phone durable performance.

2. for the display. there are some element about the power consumption
a. display size: the bigger, the consumpt more power.

b. resolution: the higher resolution means sharper and clearer, also means d consumpt more power.
the normal resolution of phone display is like that 2k, FHD, HD, FWVGA, WVGA, 2k is the highest resolution for this year, WVGA is lowest reslotion for smartphone.

c. display material, there are two dispaly catalogy LCD(TFT, TN,IPS,LTPS) and LED (AMOLED). that means AMOLED display consumpt less
power than LCD type display.

regarding to Gionee M5, they figured out that, so they choose to make the durable and high spec balance. so Gionee M5 they choose Super AMOLED display with HD resolution to acheive the comprehensive outstanding durable phones.

I understand your point, but the fact that Intel is not a strong processor is a big lie.. Some ASUS ZenFone have been on this for long and are really doing well, maybe a bit below high end snapdragon, but definitely better than MTK. Come to think of it, does the T's and G's make use of these high end processors? If used? Are they not overworked? The problem lies with our phone manufacturers.. more reason Samsung and apple will forever be the best.

have you forgotten that the processor drives all functions on the phone from screen to output and input, browsing, music and so on, powers the ram too.. battery is the power station, the more worked out your processor, the more power it consumes,. Not that its the battery directly
Re: Gionee M5 Discussion Thread[HOT] by Ryanxu: 12:44pm On Aug 30, 2015
Maybe intel processor did very good job in smartphone, but if that's true why intel processor doesn't well used by all the phone marker?
as you konw, Qualcomm and Mediatek started to produce the processor since 2005, that time even don't have smartphone, the produce feature phone processor.

intel processor is a follower in mobilephone industry, in early days the high end processor market ocupied by Qualcomm, the middle and low market occupied by mediatek, they have no chance to win in the mobilephone processor industry.
so they start to choose some small brand phone maker to use their processor and provide very low rates. that's why you can see the ASUS to use it.

as far as i konw, no more than 10 phone marker use the intel processor including lenovo only very few product, and ASUS, and some small tablet maker.

have you tried these your so called 'small tablet maker' Have you ever tried an Intel based device? These devices are so better than the MTK based devices. They are new in the phone market and will sure be breaking grounds pretty soon.. an Intel dual core will perform better than an MTK quad core anytime.
Just watch out
Re: Gionee M5 Discussion Thread[HOT] by Ryanxu: 1:48pm On Aug 30, 2015
actually most probably the phone marker are find a way of make the performance and power consume balance.
such as 5.5 HD resolution display, if they use 8MP pixel, the pic in the phone looks very fuzzy, and not clear, so in the flagship they choose 13MP to make the performance balcance.

and every cpu has different performance, every cpu the manuafacture will provide the referance capablity of each cpu, also the phone maker determined to choose which cpu, the power consums will not make too much big difference.
and also the cup useage mostly determined by the andorid OS and the app installed. maybe the higher spec of display and camera will takes much more cup usage, but the affect on power consumtion is limited.

here i will show you the MT6735 CPU capablility released in their offical website:
http://www.mediatek.com/en/products/mobile-communications/smartphone1/mt6735/

Features

ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit quad-core processor (1.5GHz)
ARM Mali-T720 GPU
Rel. 9, Cat. 4 LTE (FDD & TDD), DC-HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev. A, EDGE
802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
13MP image signal-processor
1080p Full HD video recording and playback at 30fps
