How were you able to resolve the MTN 500 for 1gb issue?

Not rili ohh but I bought 2 of the phns d 2nd one 4 a family member,I used d sim 2 so out of 4 imeis 4 2 dual sim puns only 1 worked-so 3 imeis had been tampered with,dis imei tweaking shortchanges people who actually buy these phns

What are the implications of that? Does it mean that you cannot use that sim port for other networks, or is it only MTN 500 for 1gb, and how can one avoid or know such phone that its imei has been tampered with? I am asking all these questions because I want to buy the phone this week, and with this now, I don't even know if to order it online or go to computer village and buy it(they sell it for 20,500 at slot).

actually they did prove it but am referring to those that bought it and said the screen isnt good, no file manager,no gallery,white ui,bla bla bla etc the point is they make me fall in love the more whats keeping me from buying is the color i hate dull colors
