I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH ONITSHA IN THE LIST.
HEAVY CRIME ABOUND THERE AND AMENITIES IS A MINUS.
I PREFER OWERRI TO ONITSHA IN THE EAST.

the OP said most under rated cities not most preferred cities. Read the topic very well before you react to it.

your fourth picture is a plane crash memorial in Lagos, I think the Dana one or a previous crash.

what are you playing at?

If I'm wrong, give the name and location of that picture.
that place is called eleven, eleven, opposite it is CBN branch. It is use by the cross river state government as arm forces remembrance day during every January 15.

Sokoto has the lowest crime rate in Nigeria. Ibadan has a decent CBD just under Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt, Kaduna and Kano as shown on the pic below.

kano have the longest bridge in africa

Kano has the longest flyover in West Africa..

There is a difference between flyover and bridge..

The longest Bridge in Africa is Babangida bridge in Lagos..

The Bridge in Cairo even turns into a flyover and a main road..

To be honest, all these lists and compilations of beautiful images don't do justice for the overwhelming majority of underdeveloped Nigeria..

Sure a lot has been done and we can give ourselves a pat on the back for it, but what has been done so far is no where near the level that can be called good or impressive..

The problem with Nigerian cities is that the designers and planners don't think forward..

They build a house here a house there a building here a building there..

That's not what we need..

We need sustainable public residences that can house 170 million people today and 450 million people in the next 50 years..

What we need to build is cities built in grids like the ones in Italy and Spain and France..

Where every building is on average between 6 and 13 floors high..

These are called "condominio" and they house hundreds of families in each one..

It is crucial that we start building higher buildings and more organised..

This isn't even a matter of business anymore..

This will be a humanitarian crisis if something isn't done fast..

The cities in Nigeria are just messy..

They are very poorly designed and very inefficiently designed..

A lot of effort is being done..

That is obvious but effort alone is not enough..

You need the city to be smart too in the distribution of housing, businesses, local shops, factories etc..

Everything has to be correct from the start otherwise you are only going to build until all you have is a mess..

And we can see it already with the crazy traffic..

Excuse me, OP, But your picture of Ibadan, does not depict the change you talk about....
How can your picture of choice defy your assertions, yet you want people to believe it ? .....
Your picture of the other cities show other things such as infrastructural landmarks, the Ibadan one shows a plain old open air market, that can b found in any Nigerian city
Don't mind Op.
He must be an ibo
U no see say na Enugu b no 1
