@kuthvic well my opinion for you is to travel a day before the scheduled date.. then lodge in a hotel closer to the airport |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 7:40pm On Aug 31, 2015 |
kuthvic:4 hours before departure? That's a bit too early. 2 hours to 3 should be enough in my opinion. Instead of waiting the whole time. Anyway, if u have a flight ticket and a valid passport u are normally allowed into the airport waiting area without much of an issue. I would advise u get a cheap hotel close by and then book a taxi for 3:am . Or, go to the airport 6 hours before ur flight after chilling in Lagos ur whole day. In my opinion u shouldn't have booked a flight at that time. It's a bit complicated now for u. Night flights are always convenient to be honest. Hope u find a way around this Oo. Good luck dear. Happy for u! 1 Like |

kuthvic: My sincere advise is this.Since you are coming from outside Lagos, plan your arrival in Lagos to the evening before your flight.Go to the departure area in the airport and find somewhere to put your neck. its always a busy area and you will not get harassed since you have your traveling documents with you. But be careful with your luggage. You can also do online check in to save you the hassle of a long queue. 1 Like |

This shouldn't be a problem at all. I once had a flight for 5am and I had no problem getting to the airport even at that time. Traveling in Lagos at the early hours is like surfing on an empty highway haha though you go still see people o. Na Lagos we dey talk so. Just arrive Lagos a day earlier, go to one of those taxi ranks and book two cabs. Make sure it is two o (because one can oversleep). Make arrangements with them to pick you up at around 2-3am the next morning. They'll be more than glad to do so. If one fails to make it, the other will. Bon voyage kuthvic: 1 Like |

Good morning nairalanders, am at the consulate now waiting to go in, mr paulinus is yet to resume the gate but anyways I'm calm and patiently waiting. My questions are 1: does the application form carry a bar code and 2: my copy of data page is not coloured hope it doesn't matter? 1 Like |

leo2314: @5.37am you are already at the embassy, good of you. Application form has no bar code. Photocopies are not necessarily meant to be colored. If I may ask, where did you sleep? |

Are u saying that he got to the embassy too early? On the day of my interview i got to the embassy at exactly 5:00am on the dort and 5 people were already on the queue. I had to join the queue as the 6th person. I was even wondering if the 5 people I met at the embassy at 5:00am when I got there slept right there at the embassy. enibal: |

You are supposed to have gotten your account details from DB since 28th of July. Mine stayed 3 weeks and 3 days before DB sent it. Check your spam mail to see if the message was delivered there. When is ur interview and enrolment deadline? Galads: |
