I'm kind of shocked how fast my data finishes, Imagine subscribing etisalat 2gb last month and it didn't even last upto 3 weeks, at first I thought that the problem was with the network, so I then subscribed for mtn's 2gb plan , an here I am three days after, almost 400mb has already gone, and the way I see it, it won't last me upto three weeks too,



And funny thing is , I only browsed the net with opera, checked twitter a few times, checked my mail,










I checked how much data the Opera was consuming and it was quite shocking, 350mb for three days of surfing the net,


Please guys help a brother out, how can I minimize this consumption of data by my phone?

Check your background data, and under ur opera mini go to picture quality, i bet it's in high reduce to low, so as to reduce data consumption, and lastly off ur data before u go to bed.. Try dz it might go a long way in helping u...

Background applications are sucking up your data. Go to data usage and put them off.
You can also switch certain application off, individually.
Use opera mini for browsing too. It compresses data better than others.

I use 8gig every 2wks and my fone no be android.. if urs is android, turn off background data, cache, cookies, etc..
