Senator Akpabio is Boss While he has an escort vehicle ahead of him plus his own personal driver whom is well known to d ex governor. But for whatever reason they choose to dis obey the traffic because OGA in qoute is running late for his flights. Big deal on the Driver for disobeying the traffic lights While Akpabio cant do that in Abroad. The Driver needs to explain why he jumps the lights. And that his Boss should be in Order I believe the insurance company will attend to the embassy vehicle. Moral of the matter Learn to obey the Law always Cheers |

This is a country that has bad "leaders". His family are living abroad, he himself could not just even obey traffic rule. This is a bad country. |

The way people drive in Abuja gives an appearance of false personal importance. They do not even obey human traffic controllers talkless traffic lights.. |

By virtue of his profession (LAW) and his current status (SENATE MINORITY LEADER), he's expected to be law abiding, but the reverse is the case. What a shame! This is nothing but a carryover of lawlessness, illegality and impunity that characterized Jonathan's Government. Anyway, I wish him speedy recovery. |

It happened because they decided to copy Abj ppl who disobey the light order. Most of the traffic lights are dead sef. Do we really need traffic lights in Nigeria? 1 Like |

“A suburban jeep and a Mercedes Benz SUV were involved in the accident; the suburban was towed to the embassy while the Benz SUV was towed to the Central Police Station. Our accident investigation team has already commenced investigation, so it is too early to know the cause of the accident,” he said. Yet the APC media told us he was disobeying traffic rule when it happened smh |

I am glad that this accident involved the U.S i am pretty sure that a thorough investigation would be implemented and reports made public. This is another case of rich citizens of Nigeria flouting the law in their way place the lives of innocent Nigerians at risk. Even PMP and Tambuwal obey traffic lights. Its also a clear that this is how this governors operate in their various states. |

AngryNigerian: Why is an ordinary mere ex governor still using siren. The frsc boss should be sacked if he can't tell us why he is entitled to a siren. He should be paying for his own security and convoy should be trimmed to just one. The driver should be charged to court for dangerous driving so that other vip drivers can learn from it. He is putting the lives of ordinary citizens at risk. 1 Like |

gunuvi: Don't mind Nigerians. ..no one here has said anything about the US Vehicle that crashed into his, I'm sure most of them didn't even read the article. Why should an Embassy vehicle be following Akpabio so closely to the extent of crashing into his vehicle from behind?? APC and their quest for oil producing States in collaboration with the US. There's more to this story than the ordinary ears have heard 1 Like |
