nio68: for where. U can't predict this MKT. I exited upl yesterday after many unsuccessful attempts many days back. Just check what it did today after I exited. I also exited Skye to do access after the result announcement. When I couldn't buy access at the price I wanted, I wanted to re-enter Skye, but couldn't as as it has sped of from the price I exited. I had no option than to enter access at the price I didn't want. Thank God am still gaining on access, but its nothing compared to what Skye would have given me. |

mercylicious: From experience when stuffs like this starts happening just chill for one position cos the bull will spread round. My exit point now is May next year when Access will be trading at above 9, FBN above 10, UBA above 7 etc 4 Likes 1 Share |

I made a staggered exit from UBA with profits to extra load transcorp only to see a sluggish train and had no choice than to re- enter UBA at a price lower than my exit rate today at 2.28pm. 3.30. No Loss. Just like buying my stuff back same quantity at lower price. Market not predictable. Miss one, you catch one promptly.... Wish I was into Skye...But the train is too fast. |

In September 1 last year, I sold my Oando, Dexter did same shortly after Looking back now, it was a good call. OS has increased by 50%, oil price has dropped and I can buy 2.7 Oando shares for every one I sold then. |

We are too optimistic in Nigeria.........Anything foreign, you need to exercise caution because MTN is coming to exploit us...........You need to watch out and see how you can exploit them...........ETI and some others like that have made investors to loose a lot of money and they still pose on NSE as one of the best stocks.................Look deep................. 2 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmatok(m): 5:41pm On Sep 01, 2015 |
currentprice: Don't compare MTN to Starcomms. STARCOMM death was predicted due to unattractive CDMA business in Nigeria,e.g MULTILINKS,ZOOM MTS, etc same happening to VISAFONE. But GSM business is not dying anytime soon, with their huge subscriber base. If you see any GSM stock selling below #10 better grab it . |

angelo82: I don't particularly agree with you. Post 2008, ETI suffered as much as every other stock listed on the exchange. You can as well accuse quite a number of other companies of the same |
