Christ is the only mediator through which mankind can approach God, His sacrificial blood paid the ransom thereby nullifying any need for an intercessor because the so called intercessor is also a sinner therefore, Christ being a perfect and sinless being, he alone is the mediator and the Christ through whom we approach God in prayer that was why he taught us how to pray and how to go about it which can be found in Matt 6:6-12 and not through any intercessor.

Go read the history of Roman Catholic Church. That church did not emanate from Apostles! Catholic church is a direct consequence of false doctrine introduced into church few decades after the departure of the Apostles. It is called Nicolaitan deeds in Rev 2:6

The truth is we are looking at a fulfillment of biblical prophecies here and Roman Catholic Church is a system whose existence span centuries. A system that was responsible for the death of millions of faithful christians who refused to follow their dogmas when the church exercised combination of political and religious power over the entire Europe during the Dark Ages. It is wrong to single out a priest or pope for criticism because the church is a generational system and it is not about an individual person.

Unfortunately Roman Catholic Church refered to as beast/whorish mother is regaining the power she lost in 1798 when the pope of that year was dethroned and imprisoned and subsequently killed by one military general. With the help of America and World Council of Churches, Roman Catholic Church or the Beast as the bible call it, will rise again and this time around, the entire world will worship her (note that about 2billion people are already following). So why didn't the apostles instead of preaching, not just forgive everyone's sin so they can all go to heaven?

After all, Jesus forgave the paralytic even though he never asked for forgiveness.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation may be too deep for you to understand because you've taken extreme position. First you must admit that you've sinned through your own fault; feel genuinely sorry for your sin; confess your sins out of your free will and undertake penance (retribution). It's not as simple as you think. It takes guts to go to another and admit your faults and submit yourself to retribution.
