I once saw a remark about mods not being paid sometime ago but didn't take it serious coz the commenter didn't seem credible enough. But coming from you I'm tempted to ask if it's really true. Like how come and why would someone take up a job they aren't rewarded for? Not like an answer is necessary, just thinking aloud.

This is no news. Only few (new idea by the way) supermods are paid eg Ishìlove (and Làlasticala) when she was still a mod. The rest are not paid. The reason is not far fetched though, there's this joy that comes with one's ability to have a physical or virtual power over another. The orgàsm some derive from banning or warning others is inexplicable. Most do it for fun and to afford the priviledges of being a mod like hiding and reading hidden posts. But Sèun give all mods a recharge card of about 3K or so at the end of the year which i last read of about 2 years ago. Don't know if the tradition is still in place now.


But i don't blame Séun though, paying all the mods will cost a lot. They're over 30 mods. Why pay them when thousands of members will do it for free?
