Nigerians enjoy staying ever-backward. I see nothing wrong here. In developed nations news stations employ professional makeup and lighting artists for reporters, because they don't disclose it makes you all think the women do makeup themselves.

Star newscasters sometimes have their own makeup crew at their beck and call who travel along on official duty to make sure the reporter looks 100% all times of the day. Its a well known fact men pay attention to who presents the news in addition to the information passed. Men even have favourite newscasters based on beauty but most never admit it.
