I contemplated those designs but by the time I cover them, which I'll have to on the orders of She Who Must Be Obeyed, then I should just go with the flow.

Nice cost analysis. I guess this answers my question above as i want to steal this design or something close to it because of funds. Good cost too on the gate.

As iam poorer than Hajji , i might have to go for something lower for the gate as na even village the project dey. This your analysis is a good guide. Kudos.

The pent house will be a 3 bedroom flat but someone has advised me to consider using the Pent for 3 self-contained rooms to generate more rental income.
What do you think? will the 3 bedroom flat be more profitable than 3 self-contained rooms?

Brag3 it depends on if you are targeting students around the area as potential tenants. If you are, then I will advice you to go for self contained rooms instead of a three bedroom penthouse. For my property I am not targeting students but if students can afford it why not

Consider d load u will b adding to d structure. The question is, wat kind of foundation is carrying ur structure? 2. Even if its a raft, was it properly done??
The other concern shld b, won't d building become a barracks if u av 3 self contains on d pent floor..
For safety, 1family on d pent floor will b better Dan 3families.. Even if u give dem out to students, de will always av room mates n visitors..
Pent floors shld b solitary confines... De r landlords quarters.
So as u consider d benefits monetarily, u shld also consider health n safety of ur structure...
