Brotherly, how far? 'You are tall and fit', is somebody thinking what am thinking?

As at now, I have applied to 3 sch for spring. However I have a 100% complete Missouri S n T application. It's probably my best application based on d nicest LOR combo

Please I know you are surely bizi, but can u help sniff around Mining MSC students to check about funding opportunities, and what PROF OR MINING SPECIALIZATION will readily fund. It could be a nice way to start a convo wit dat mining MSC chic u know#winks#

I just want an informed decision based on what is actually happening n not hearsays. Spring application is not yet late. I was thinking of leaving d application for fall but if there's fund for spring, I'll sign up.

By the way, I applied for pet in MST this fall but was rejected. I liked how they listed my F'ups one after the other. I reapplied for mining paying attention to my initial errors n this app is way better. Good luck with ur American dream.
you are more than welcome, it was just a fugarative compliment by the white man so don't get any ideas, 50% of mining students are on J-1 visas from Botswana, they have a thriving mining industry so they send students to do a combo of metallurgy and mining, so there is Funding!!!, but you have to find a professor that has an ongoing research, and seek to be a research assitant, the more students a professor has, the more funds or projects he does,

Hmmm. I guess is late to write d exam.
Bro its not late write TOEFL, or else you will be required to take ESL classes.
if you are transferring to a college, that does not recognize nigeria as a english speaking country, you will be required to write an english test, which costs money, and an accuplacer placement (critical reading, math, writing) test after passing the english test, to check, if you are fit for college level classes, this tests consists of upto 300 questions (you could spend more than 7hours writing this) you no go find am funny oh.... If you no pass the placement test (can be written twice) , you will have to take the Developmental courses which you will have to pay for, which is unnecessary IMO, its just to prepare you for college level classes (cash wasted) cos it wont add to your GPA.

But if your school recognizes nigeria as an English speaking country, you will be required to take the Accuplacer test.

It is good and necessary for you to write tests, ViSA is not the problem, you no wan go school, come dey see magic happen o, at least passing TOEFL would waive the ESL test, if you dont write and pass the SAT u can take the accuplacer..... If you pass the two, you dont have to waste extra cash, for either placement tests, and extra unnecessary classes

But if you get money to spare (waste), no do any test, you will get your visa, and see magic happen.

Just write the TOEFL or IELTS, my advice for you and others, wey no wan write test..... You dont wanna go through all those things enlisted.
TOEFL: 4 hrs 30mins
SAT: 3hrs 45mins

ESL: each session 5hrs
Accuplacer : 7hours or more.
Its your choice bro.

Tell them it wasnt required by your school, cos you WAEC result was enough proof that you are academically sound and fit for university level courses

Also check the courses you are to take in your freshman year, in case any question about the courses you will be taking, arises.
