A friend of mine collected his NSCDC APL letter via email yesterday and his APL carried his salary scale and was asked to report to Zone C borno state command on the 4th of september. Please how true is this? As he's confuse and wants to know if it's genuine or not.

I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE ANYTHING UNTIL SEPTEMBER COMES TO AN END.

I heard everything is on hold for now that they want to sanitize the last promotion activities they did recently.

really, me av always been following this trend since and though, am in the northern Nigeria but, from my man way they wan help me talk say, 1st list is out but my name was not there that before next week end, power will be given 2 them for replacement.

My friend said...his inlaw made calls to his NSCDC friend and he was told that they do not send people for training to a state command other than your own state command as he's from the south and was sent to Borno state comand instead of his state command for training... So all indications shows that it's a scam... I still want to confirm, if its true that they've given out APL yet as nobody has said anything about hearing it or havin idea of it...

FG suspends Immigration recruitment

ABUJA— The Federal Government has announced the immediate suspension of the recent recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) conducted on the directives of the immediate past President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, between March and April this year.

A reliable NIS source disclosed that the Board of Prisons, Immigration, Civil Defence and the Fire Service has directed immediate suspension of every activity related to the recruitment until further notice.
To this effect, the NIS headquarters has instructed state commands and heads of training institutes to recall newly recruited persons sent for training at the Immigration Service Training Schools at Orlu, Kano and Ohoada.
Many job seekers lost their lives last year at a recruitment across the country, a development that warranted a Presidential Committee on Immigration Recruitment constituted on March 26, 2014 by former President Goodluck Jonathan.
However, the recruitment was mired in controversies which was one of the reasons for the removal from office of the former Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mr. David Parradang.
Recently, the ill-fated recruitment also led to serious disagreements between the former Minister, Ministry of Interior, Abba Moro and David Parradang.
During the now suspended employment exercise, less than 5,000 Nigerians, including candidates of families that lost loved ones in the botched 2014 recruitment that resulted in the death of about 15 applicants were enlisted and sent for training to become personnel of the service.
Our source who spoke on conditions of anonymity disclosed that confusion has already set in since the circular from the board was received last week.

yeah is NSCDC am dealing with the boss in the state direct,first list was given to my Aunt but can't find my name.
Though even that first list she said they have not grant them permission to print there appointment letter. let hope for good

I don't really know what to say to those hoping. Hoping for what self? I don't mean to dash anyone's hope but we need to take things easy at this time. How many of us here have been hoping since and for how many years now?

Many of us know the truth and yet shying away from it. We have heard a lot in the news that all recruitment have been suspended be it in the custom, prison, civil defense etc. And those concluded around march till now canceled.

Though everywhere is not smiling and a lot are trying to better their lives so that they can also equal their colleagues that are doing something good for themselves but yet, we need to be extra ordinarily careful and be articulate in most of the info emanated here.

May we not for prey of those with bad intention on this thread.

May we all be happy and fulfilled in the shortest of time to come.
