Hi everyone, Please help, I am filling my EE profile, I tried to fill in my work history, I save and add but it doesn't appear on the list below and when I click the check completeness button I keep getting the validation error and work history shows incomplete in red. When I try to save and exit it keeps saying incomplete, it also happens in my spouse work history section. I tried different browsers but same problem. Please how do I get over this? |

hi everyone i'm new on this thread. i intend to get ECA from WES ,however i have 2 degrees. my 1st degree had a misplling of my surname on the certificate hence i only use the statement of result (since 1997). its my 2nd degree i'm using to work now and i have 9 years work experience. my question is will WES accept sttement of result? as the name on the certificate on the first degre had typographical error(one alphabet), because if i tender both degrees i will score higher points. the university is in the east and i think the process of getting a new re-issue certificate may take time and also i dont have off time from my job. |

@Zandora @Jesusdway Hi guys, Please does anybody have any information on the format the letter from the Bank is supposed to be in - for Express Entry. GTBank is saying they need me to request more than one letter for the information required by CIC. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zandora: 9:00pm On Sep 01, 2015 |
AlphaNumero: I don't understand your question. Are you asking for the bank letter format requested by CIC or do you know the format but GTB won't write the letter for you in CIC'S format? |

Hi JesusDWay, I took the eligibility test before submitting my application but after submitting my application, I was told I am not eligible. I have experience in like 3 different NOCs. How did you do yours? JesusDWay: |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by JesusDWay(m): 1:08pm On Sep 02, 2015 |
Bellawax: The system i believe will evaluate you based on one of the NOCs and not the three. Now, if you don't have sufficient years in any of them, you may be ineligible. There are other factors that may be responsible though, e.g, IELTS grade, amount quoted as proof of funds, if NOC is not skill type 0 or Level A or B, etc. If you dont mind, you can give a breakdown of your details with respect to age, breakdown of your ielts, years spent in in each NOC, if you are married and if your spouse did IELTs as well, then we can see what the problem is from there |

Hello JesusDway...... |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zandora: 4:49pm On Sep 02, 2015 |
Bellawax: What about your education? Have you got a BSc or MSc? Btw you can't mix NOCs so you'll have to go with the longest of 22 months ie 2282 hence technically you only have 1 year experience. Therefore if I'm assuming you have only a year's experience and a BSc, unfortunately you won't be eligible under FSW. Try retaking ielts to increase your speaking. |

Please, if WES receives a verification mail from one's institution, what does the status of the applicant change to? Documents received, review in progress, then Evaluation in progress? I am curious because the above was also the sequence of events before a verification mail was sent to my institution. Update: Question no longer necessary -WES already replied my mail. Thank you all. |

Good day house, Asides the statement of account, do i need any letter from the bank stating that i operate an account with them? And secondly, i just got married and my wife has not done IELTS and ECA, can i edit my EE profile now or wait until my wife's IELTS and ECA are done? Lastly, is it possible to say my wife is not going with me now but will join me later? Thanks as i await replies |

zandora: Hi. I was asking because GTBank says they won't write the letter for me in CIC's format. I wanted to know if someone else had the same issue and what they did to get around it. Thank you @Zandora |

I have BSc. What if i combine all the years of experience together into one NOC? I am not sure about taking another IELTS right now or I could just wait and re-submit another profile later on in the year or next year. zandora: |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by JesusDWay(m): 6:26pm On Sep 03, 2015 |
Bellawax: You had 64/100 but require 67 to scale through under the requirement for FSW, no thanks to your low years of work experience. Even if you have 2years experience in the not where you have 22months(it will become 2years in 2months time), you will only make 66. If you however can retake ielts like Zandora suggested and you make 7 in the section where you have 6.5, you will gain the required 67 and can then enter the pool. So, you appear to be 2months and 40k away from being eligible I will suggest however that in retaking IELTS, you should score L-8.5, R-8.0, W&S - 7.5 each, as it will stand you a better chance of being selected for ITA sooner than your present grade 1 Like |

AlphaNumero: I guess that's GTB's way. Someone told me something similar and eventually has to be issued two separate letters, one for indebtedness and the other for reference. The person also said bank statement will have to be requested for separately. Meanwhile, see below format of letter someone got from First Bank: FirstBank WARRI MAIN BRANCH Aug. 27, 2012 REF: RL/350/72239281 MANITOBA IMMIGRATION AND MULTICULTURALISM Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program 7th Floor 213 Notre Dame Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada R3B 1N3 Dear Sir/Madam, BANKER'S LETTER OF REFERENCE ACCOUNT NUMBER: 1234567890 = N3,453,738.16 - (Equivalent) = 23,010.60 CAD ACCOUNT NAME: XXXXXXXX The captioned customer has requested for a letter of reference. We confirm that the account relationship which started 07-Feb-2000 has been satisfactorily conducted. Kindly oblige with the necessary assistance required. This report is given to you in the strictest confidence and without any liability whatsoever on the part of this Bank or any of its officers. Yours faithfully, For: FIRST BANK OF NIGERIA PLC Authorized Signatory JOHN THOMAS Authorized Signatory JAMES MANAGER NOTE BELOW: The names of the signatories are not real please. Two signatories. One to the left hand side & the other to the right hand side in closing the letter. Secondly, the Bank Statement of Account for 6 months in agreement with the Reference Letter in terms of your Nigeria currency must be attached to the Reference Letter. The detail transactions in terms of deposits/withdrawals are clearly reflected in the statement. If you are a monthly salary earner, the periodic payment of your salary should be clearly seen. You may have more than one account. You are expected to follow this procedure for the accounts you want to reflect for your Immigration Application Process. If you are into business, the main accounts of deposits/withdrawals should be captured. Even if there is little fund in your salary account, but you have other fund in other accounts, both should be used. They want to be sure that truly you have a regular pay as you must have claimed. Thanks & do have a wonderful day! 2 Likes |
