So he commissioned a hospital that is/was not fully functional?
I thought you only commission, when it's good and open for use?
Akpabio, giving new meaning to commissioned!!!!

I did not agree with Akpabio about dat particular streetlight at bolingo junction. I have never see dat streetlight not functioning before. It's one of the traditional streetlight in abuja. Is never part of the bala Muhammed scam. Can anybody come forward to disbunk or confirm dis allegation. To the best of my knowledge, dat street is one of the most functioning streetlight. The senetor of a deviant violated the traffic law to catch up with his flight that I am sure he was already late.

Since u made yourself a judge in your own matter, Oya carry go. Jail the sanator, yeye.
I work close to Cool FM abuja that light hardly work. Hence the ever presence of traffic police there.

......You belong to the same party that ruled for 16 years, yet to fix traffic light is a problem,
Its a shame.

Your clueless former president awarded cameras for all the roads in Abuja, if those cameras were working, we would have know the truth.

You built a world class hospital, yet you are getting treatment abroad.

Akpabio, your end is not too far, very very near!

This is funny, so even without a functioning traffic light, is there no such thing as responsible driving??.

In Nigeria , there is nothing like right of way. The kekes and picantos must give way for the molues and lorries otherwise they get crushed.

The senator is used to driving with sirens blaring at the loudest decibel at neck breaking speed. The American embassy staff also must have adapted to our driving rules and road traffic behaviours after all, there are American embassy staff.

The only thing strange but funny about this scenario is the oga Akpabio was flown abroad for medical care even though he built a world class medical centre in his home state.

He is not alone though.
Every now and then, tinubu would fly abroad because of a nagging toothache when a simple and regular toothbrush and paste would cured his wahala.

Anyim would take a two day trip abroad just to swallow his sleeping tablets.

Obasanjo would fly abroad to sort his flatulence even though he is surrounded with high fibre foods in his ota farm.

Na joke o.

I was just laughing when it was everywhere that he built a world class hospital, we like to put the cart before the horse in this country. Pray, tell me, where are the doctors to work in this hospital? NMA has less than 70,000 registered doctors, compared to our population, it is grossly inadequate. To see a specialist sometimes in a govt hospital, you have to book 3 months in advance. The simple truth is we do not have the human resources for a world class hospital except we give incentives to bring back all those who have gone out of the country to work. A strategic approach will be investing in human resources which means investing in our medical schools to churn out more QUALIFIED doctors and specialists. If we go on building hospitals and showing equipment for the cameras, we are deceiving ourselves. The same applies to the last administration who were boasting they built 12 new universities when we do not have the faculty of the appropriate level to manage them.

You are 100% correct.

I passed through that junction a few minutes after the accident and the traffic lights were working perfectly.

I always pass through that junction every morning on my way to the office and it had always worked.

Senator Akpabio made some clarifications on what lead to his accident. He denied disobeying traffic light as he alleged they were not working. He however stated that he was on his way to London to see a sick family member. He also talked about the ultra modern hospital he commissioned as not fully functional.

I wholly agree with Akpabio on this. Those traffic lights the former FCT minister hurriedly installed as he was about leaving in Abuja are not working. And those that are working give inappropriate signs that 2 drivers from different directions might actually be obeying the lights and then collide.
this fvcker you'll just come here and talk shii.. the traffic light around bolingo hotel abv works mahn

I guess the traffic light packed up with the demise of PDP.

What Akpabio was simply saying was that 16yrs rule of the PDP was the worst to happen to Nigeria as they left no single enduring legacy behind. undecided
