I was a 14B corps member, I registered for pgde in Feb this year cz I heard it was cheap but after registering, I discovered the fee had increased.. I continued anyway, when it was time for registration, I told the person that I was still serving and I didn't have my university certificate either and he helped and told me to bring them before the end of the program.. So next year, register for it and attend classes if you want cz of attendance / CA and make sure you know your rep and you do your assignments. This is the breakdown of the fee;

Registration fee: 2,350
First semester;
Tuition fee: 25,850
Tablet fee: 45,000
Exam fee: 10,350
Second semester;
Tuition fee: 25,850
Teaching practice fee: 10,000
Project fee: 10,000
Exam fee: 10,350
During registration we paid 1,200 for tee-shirt, 2,000 for matric and 1,000 for id card.. Course materials are free..
We just started second semester and will be writing our exam in December.. Just be updated..

Don't go below 80k and prepare adequately for oral interview cos you will have three white men who will interview you. BE BOLD AND BE AUDIBLE TO THEIR HEARING. Good luck

Don't mind your yeye interviewers! Pythagoras Theorem is always valid. The Theorem would never, I repeat, never be invalid. It is always applied to a right-angled triangle and it has been certified to always be correct.

just to corroborate your points , o ye learned fellows, the pythagoras theorem is only but a modification of the cosine rule where the reference angle of the triangle whose solution is sought for using the cosine rule is 90 degrees. Hence the peculiar solution: pythagors theorem which can be readily applied to solving for a side of any triangle,given d oda 2 sides, that has 1 of itz angle equal to 90 degrees I.e. A right angle triangle instead of going through the seemingly long cosine rule process. In summary, pythagoras theorem is the cosine rule form or translation for right angle triangles. With these few words of mine, I hope I av bin able to confuse n not convince u that.......... Lolz

It is not a matter of going below 80k, International Schools like Avi Cenna have their own salary structure, the most important thing is for him or her to be the chosen applicant from the multitude of people who will be invited for the interview. As a matter of fact Avi Cenna paid up to N1 million per annum to new teachers in 2007 which is about 83k per month. It is a great priviledge to work in a School like Avi Cenna even for a lesser pay because the name of the School on your CV opens doors. With the right international certifications some Nigerian teachers are earning dollars in Dubai, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Australia etc.

The School has nursery school but the secondary is new, just taking off this September with boarding facilities. The pay is not bad and the Proprietress is a good person. That, I'm sure of.
