burrytee: @burrytee, honestly speaking having a virgin passport does not in any way reduce ur chances of getting Canadian TRV, just package your application well. But to answer your question, a stamped passport, depending on the country that stamped it tells more about an applicant's travel history. While some stamps could be an Advantage, others may be a disadvantage. And it is not entirely about the stamp, but the conduct of that person in the country/countries visited (which means an unused visa does not in most cases count, the Visa Officer is interested in your conduct in that/those country/countries you visited, e.g. how long u stayed, if u extended your stay, if u committed crime etc; and not just a visa u have on ur passport which has no naija exit/entry stamp or the country's exit/entry stamp). A good travel history should under normal circumstances boost one's chances of obtaining TRV, especially trips to countries considered GOOD! But like I said earlier, having a virgin passport does not reduce one's chances of getting TRV! #JustMyOpinion |

Ljayy:I think that should be ok. But remember to include nysc in ur previous roles/experience and the date as well. You can also explain yourself in a letter of explanation, so the VO will understand your purpose of visit, and not mix it up for "inability to get a good job in Nigeria" 1 Like |

Hi Guys, Here is my travel experience... It was pretty normal. I flew United, Lagos-Houston-Toronto-Halifax. It was pretty okay, nothing spectacular. They mice milk -_-. But the flights were pretty smooth except that my Houston-Toronto flight got delayed for an hour which affected my other flight to Halifax. Immigration: Officer: Hi, How long are you staying for? Me: 2yrs, I'm here for school Officer: do you have any foodstuff in your baggage? Me: yes, I have garri and beans Officer: how much do you have with you? Me: $* Officer: go this way and then that way to for inspection. POE experience: Nothing much happened here, the conversation went thus: Officer: hello there Me: hi Officer: *typing and staring at his monitor* so you're going to MSVU? Me: yes Officer: *after 2 mins* here's your study permit, this let's you work off-campus. Make sure your get your SIN whenever you're free. After that, I went for inspection and had to fill a form where I had to declare money. Formed convo with him so there was no actual inspection **they never searched my luggages Highlight of the trip: Running to the gate of my last flight after checking in again while they kept announcing my name for the whole world to hear. (I was the last person to get on the plane, this was 10mins to take-off) quite dramatic Halifax is great, everyone has been smiling since I got here, it's so weird. @ettti and other Halifax people, get in here quick Goodnight NLders 18 Likes |

Goodmorning house, During the graduate admission process. Are they gonna use the last two years result on your transcript or they consider the own transcript from yr1 to yr4 ? |
