I own caucasian dogs.

I was researching, and stumbled across this piece of information:

The Caucasian Shepherd dog is highly compromised in standards even in it’s home countries of Georgia Republic,Azerbaijan,Armenia and Russia.

We once wrote an article about the many faces of the Caucasian shepherd dog in Nigeria.
However every where in most countries the Caucasian shepherd suffers a level of compromise.

There are very large,almost 100 kg Caucasian shepherds.

There are agile docked tailed,cropped eared Wolf Killers among this breed
Then there are also weak,slow,50kg-60kg Caucasian shepherds that look like obese Alsatians,but with more of a fox or wolf like muzzle.

By some standards,the Caucasian shepherd has no maximum height limit,that is it is anywhere from 30 inches to above 36 inches.
Said height achieved without mixing with the know tallest breeds,Great Danes and Irish Wolfhounds.

Therefore it is a most difficult task to get an IDEAL Caucasian Shepherd dog.

For us a 32 inches tall,90 kg,prime well muscled Caucasian,fawn,docked tail,cropped ears from the Wolf killing stock and fighting bloodline,the sort used then to guard fugitives and to kill wolves in it’s home country.

Has anyone observed this in his/her Co, or does it mean our Co's are not full breeds, most are not pure breed, cos of irresponsible breeders. Really, i have observed different faces of the Co in my Environment, and are annoying.

Caucasian Ovcharka is actually russian and its root can be traced 2 the country but other countries adopted it and some mixed it along the way with St. Benard, and other breeds...I can't find the link I learnt all these from but will upload....there's something they call face mask that they use to differentiate; but differs in different dogs, then naturally their aggression. ...then their paws.....I read an hilarious advert by 1 dude here saying he has Caucasian shepherd and mountain caucasian for sale......we really shd find out b4 these so called breeders sell us with names and english

You know there was a time I was so confused bout it. Ovcharka, shepherd, mountain,... leagbaje...
These mix breeding are really messing up the dogs. Nigeria don't have responsible breeders at all.

That's not what I mean, for instance, the mixture of coke and fanta is accepted for a particular flavor, and widely accepted, and by the time you mix lemon with it, what do you have. Chaos.
Over time, they've been able to determine the temperament of these creatures, but by the time you mix Alsatian with bull mastiff, what temperament do you have.
Now that's clear.

I'm glad you asked me this. I'd share an experience to answer this.

Sometime ago, I wanted to breed my dog and I couldn't afford the demands of so many greedy breeders: 20k, 2 puppyies, 10k, 10% of puppies, et cetera.
Then, I met a guy who said all he needed was just a female pup, and some money to feed my dog through her breeding period with his dog.
He asked me how much I could afford, and I said I couldn't afford much, then he said 5k, & that was what he collected, and a female pup.
And I determined in my heart to always accept what others can afford and one puppy.
That answers your question sir. Decision is yours.
But life shouldn't be made difficult for others.

show d pics.....if he's a good breed u can go as high as 20k plus 1 puppy and as low as 10k plus 1 puppy.....but depends on u....bros mating no easy especially with caucasians.....I dey sweat here
