What do you expect? when the likes of Dangote, Otedola and Adenuga have rubbished us. The fact that they employ Indians with 'O' level equivalent, who know only little about business management as their managers and seek to employ indigenous Masters and PHD holders as Truck Drivers, Office assistants and Call center agents is enough to make them affix Nigeria with every negative appellations. 7 Likes 1 Share |

I work in a company where 90% of the staffs are the best any serious minded business person will be proud of. They’re hardworking, intelligent, and know what to do even before you tell them. Yet our ogas still went ahead and import a Lebanese man who spend most of the company time watching porn and knows absolutely nothing about our kind of work to be our overall manager.. . 6 Likes 1 Share |

musKeeto: While I agree with the first point which is about us importing fuel, I don't quite agree with the context in which he said the second thing - importing intelligence Importing intelligence is not necessarily a bad thing There are Nigerians who are expatriates in the US, Canada, UK, US, Australia etc. Does that mean those places lack intelligent people? I understand that hardly happens where he is from (Asia) but it's not because they're smarter or better. It's because of their population. They have too many people for very few jobs so they can't afford to employ foreigners. And I have worked with Indians, there's nothing so laudable about their country, work ethic or competence: those are essentially individual traits 5 Likes |

Not smart? How many Nigerians do we have heading global companies? Should i list Indians for you? Pepsi, Microsoft, Deloitte, former Vodafone, former Citigroup, just past Deutche Bank. Should I continue? If we are honest we know he is telling the truth. We have a poor attitude to work a work always looking for the short cut and quick riches. ammyluv2002: 1 Like |
