TheBae: Please friends in the house. May I know how much to take along with me for medicals? Can I use my driver's licence as means of identity since I've submitted my int passport during submission and I don't have a national ID. Am anticipating your response friends. Thank u. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by TheBae: 12:17pm On Sep 08, 2015 |
For IOM, you'll pay 28k into their Standard Chattered account and go there with the teller. When print the medical form and stamped data page attached to your medical mail and take them along. ayoshyne: |

Hi, It would have been better if sent via your NairaMaster card. You will be charged more via banks than if transaction were done by you. I use PeerTransfer via First bank NairaMaster card. Cheermate. quote author=Shebol01 post=37789794]Hello Peeps, I am in the middle of paying my first term tuition fee. I was instructed by UofR to pay thru peertransfer. I have initiated the transfer through a local bank here. Now i got a message from the bank that they could not complete the processing of my transaction because transactions to that same account usually bounces back with some deductions. Has anyone experienced this before with PeerTransfer? Urgent response is required pls? Thank you[/quote] |

Hello my people. 1. Please can anyone tell me how long it takes to receive a notification letter or approval mail, after seeing "your passport has been processed on 2/9/15 and dispatched from Accra to vac". My vac account reads this 2. Do they usually send the approval mail to email addresses |

Some pple do not receive approval mail, bt if ur application is approved which u will get to know when u pick ur passport, u can request for POE letter, or approval mail if u wish. |

Hi friends, I am new in this forum and I would like to get a few informations from u. My husband got an admission for his PGD at Seneca colledge for January 2016.We both plan to go together so I would apply for a work permit. We both are Company owners in Nigeria and we are federal goverment contractors but due to the delay in payment dis year as a result of new government, our accounts hasn't been as fantastic as it used to. But we suggest now that we use his sister outside the country as a part sponsor but his sister would stand as his mum. So do we need to do another birth certificate that will show his sister's name as his mum cuz she has it in all her record in the UK where she lives that my husband is her son that she had in secondary sch. Pls advise cuz I'm scared of lying wen it comes to things like dis. We both have all other documents such as landed properties e.t.c. |

Drakesrib: Premedicals? I don't really understand you but if you're talking about upfront medicals. That's allowed, i do think you're supposed to have a form for that. There are different places to do medicals, depends on where you live. The most commonly used in lagos is IOM(there's a branch in GRA ikeja). You're to pay 28k into their standard Chartered Bank Acct and go with your teller, passport and about 6 passport photographs. P. S- There's a link for list of panel approved physicians somewhere here. |

TULLOP: How did you find out about this information? How can this IOM people be so incompetent? I don't think it takes long for it to be process, I don't know about it. Maybe if someone knows, He/she should shed light! |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Shebol01: 6:22pm On Sep 08, 2015 |
Hello BeulahHephziba, Thanks for your response. I saw your comment earlier on the use of NairaMaster Card. The transaction could not be completed because of a USD1000 daily limit on use of card for online transactions. It's a GTB Card though. When did you use your own card? Maybe the spend limit was not in force then. I sent you a PM. BeulahHephziba: |

berexio1: I did upfront medicals and they have just sent me another mail. saying your processed passport has been dispatched from the CIC to CVAC on 8/9/15. There is no attachment in this mail. I really hope this does not mean that I was delayed O. I thought that anyone who is approved will also have an approval mail sent via email. Please anyone with an advice should talk to me. I'm very anxious and a bit worried |
