I read wen the vice to Merkel said they hav a very vibrant economy nd can take 500k of asylum seekers every year for several years to come... UK, France and others can try dat because dey re trying to even pursue those dat re in d country legally by tightening their stay requirements...Note dat alot of dis asylum seekers are not miscreants and are skilled workers and alot of training centers are being opened to train dem in order to put dem into d workforce quickly... Hi Sirkells, same situation here. I sent message to them enumerating two different questions with db account info being no.1 but they only answered the 2nd question. I even stated the date i applied for the account to be opened which was 3rd Aug. I can't figure out what's wrong bro.

Any person with idea of what could have been wrong?

Good morning everyone. Abeg my fellow 3rd of August 2015 account openers (hope my english correct) what is the way forward? I have sent mail severally to db but no response yet. Has anyone been able to get any explanation for the delay in the account numbers. Or has anyone contacted the embassy in lagos for info? Me i have called someone in Germany and he called the bank. They asked him to visit a branch close to him and give my details that they should have a better explanation. They even told him that its not suppose to take more than three weeks to send the numbers. Would brief you guys on their response when he gets there today.

I heard there's an even newer CBN policy where banks bidding for ForEx must transfer the naira equivalent a minimum of 48hrs before the actual bid can be made. Heard it's a very recent policy (last week). Transferring this money is getting more cumbersome than raising it

My student accommodatn was almost canceled but for d course director who contacted d student union on my behalf,my deadline was extended thrice... In all it took four weeks at Gtbank headquarters... but I get confused when I was reading up lang requirement for my course,cos what was tated there was that toefl,ielt is required for country that there native lang was not english.but since our official lang here is english..will getting a proficiency letter frm my school suffice or I nid to take the toelf exam?

I totally agree with U but don't u think they've weighed their options before deciding to throw their doors open... For them dey believe the advantages outweighs the risks attached... Just as the USA didn't ban visas for those coming from the middle east and Asia after Sept 11...
