I would suggest you go to the German consulate. If there actually is no record of you, then they might need an authenticated signature on the form. Let's not forget that the reason for even going to the embassy/consulate in the first place is because of this authentication.

He said he went to the bank to find out what the problem is and they took my name to check if there is any record and they found none. They suggested that the embassy have not sent the docs and advised i should go to the lagos embassy to find out why the applications and docs have not been sent. That as far as they are concerned, there is no record of my name in their end. Which way forward abeg? our elders in the house @eke and all. Thanks

I suggest it's time you filled for another account. Just go to the embassy as a fresh applicant and do the blocked account process again. if you have the option of sending the documents yourself like in the Abuja Embassy.. Send your documents to the Hamburg address. They are faster over there.. Even if DB eventually gets the first application there is no harm in sending two. No time to waste. As for going to the embassy to inquire... I will say thats a long shot.

to the 3rd august DB guys, i was in the same situation in January, although mine was in Abuja.I posted my forms 15 January until 20 February no response I emailed DB, they said no record of me. I decided to hit the embassy on 27 February, the woman in charge asked for am email from DB stating that there was no record of me, thank God i printed the email and showed her, she authenticated another set of forms for me,and i posted it same day.on 12th march i got my details. Please post it yourself use DHL 3days max its there and a week or two after you shall get your details.

1. those aboki close to Gtbank are somehow trustworthy... Really don't know why dey re always close to Gtbank (maybe dey re in partnership )
2. They always stamp it so dat u can always trace which bureau de change sold it to u in case there's an issue with it...I once had d experience with some notes I bought at.Allen,ikeja.. Gtbank ikeja rejected two of d notes because it has a small tear at the tip... I tuk it back to d bdc and d aboki dat sold it has disappeared but his colleagues were able to trace which bdc he came from because of d stamp on d notes...
