THEY ARE INDIRECTLY INVITING THE MILITARY! President Muhammad Buhari should beware of these desperate governors. They are crying dictatorship where there is none. Their cry is however dangerous because it may get to the corrupt soldiers in the barracks, those Jonathan has spoilt badly with money over the years who are ready to spoil things. All sane Nigerians know there is no dictatorship in the land. The THIEVES are only jittery. 1 Like |

philips70: And now you convict based on looks too, your former moniker jjphillips had more sense and foresight than this, plus you haven't addressed the issue the PDP governors raised, if the DSS could be this arrogant with a state government, what would it be like if commoners like you and i were the suspects? Like a comment i read earlier today, it seems it is only opposition (PDP) party members that truly love buhari, because they love him well enough to point out his flaws and errors to him while the rest of you continue excusing and sai-ing while buhari goofs |

BraniacX: The DSS was too merciful on Akwa Ibom government house. If I lead DSS or the president of this country I won't tolerate half of the impunity in Akwa Ibom as led by the uncommon transformer. On the other hand, where were these PDP governors when DSS under GEJ was a flip acronym for PDP? Where were they when Marylyn Ogar did PDP's spokesman job more than Metuh and were hounding opposition here and there? Where were they when the army and police were acting as if they were appendages of the PDP? Kindly show me your Nairaland comments as of then where you condemn the acts of DSS, the army as used in Ekiti and Osun and the police used in blocking the national assembly and Rivers state government house? If you can't show me, go visit your doctor so he can cure you of your selective amnesia. The PDP ruled Nigeria like a conquered territory for 16years, oppressing the whole citizenry with all instruments of power. Only 3 months out of power and they wont let Nigerians rest with their hues and cries. Their wailing have just started, they should brace up for more and know what it is to be in opposition. 2 Likes |

The difference between partisan GMB brigands is that they see no wrong in a country thats directionless and spinless..their only goal was to grab power and benchmark their achievement or lack thereof to GEJ's worst performance.. Same way we railed against against OBJ's term, they called us EP; we railed against GEJ, they called us BH appeasers, now we are calling on GMB to hit the ground running, we are being called wailing wailers, but as the fonder and Icon of Wailers, Bob Marley, said" stone that the builders refused has turned out to be the cornerstone"... PDP should learn to deal with the pain of losing. If the pdp!g governors have forgotten, Nigerians has not forgotten how Jonathan government used the same DSS to persecute the opposition APC, how the leaderships of APC were unjustly arrested and detained during Ekiti and Osun gubar elections, how APC governors were denied of their human right by preventing their entering Ekiti while the likes of Obanikoro, Omisore, KAshamu and Chris Uba, were given escorts, arms and money to enter and freely work around Ekiti during the gubar election, we also remember how DSS unjustly invaded APC office to cart away their computers on baseless allegations prior to the last general election. All these happened during PDP reign in power and they are here making hypocritical noise. Buhari till 2023, APC till pdp!g go into extinct. |

Is this how PDP will be wailing, barking, bleating, squeaking and ranting till they go into extinction? Definitely YES. They have started feeling the effects of being an opposition. |

This useless PDP that impoverished millions of Nigerians are only out for the interest of the corrupt elite. Kill 10,000 poor people, the last voice you will hear, if at all, is PDP. Invite one of their own to a police station, the entire party will go into a meeting. Somebody should tell them that democratic "opposition" does not mean constituting into a nuisance. This Buhari's government is a pro-masses government, and the power belongs to us the people. And we will continue supporting and protecting it as long as it hits the hammer over and over on your fat-bloated heads until you learn to share this country with all the 180millions that own it. Please stop making noise and gives us alternative policy proposals if you have any. What greater dictatorship can there be than the corruption of a few that impoverishes the lives of many? Nonsense. |

Many people are quite ignorant and blinded by ethnic divides! All this talk of APC this and PDP that are actually not intelegent. APC and PDP are one and the same. A Nigerian politician will only switch to the faction that benefits them. No ideaology to follow. 2 Likes |

BraniacX: Why restrict it to Lagos state government? Did the DSS harass opposition in the last government or not? Did the last government use the nation's security forces as tools to advance their course and intimidate the opposition or not? Where were the PDP governors then? Where were you? Just quit playing to the gallery and answer simple questions. It's quite obvious PDP is yet to know what it means to be in opposition. Now they wear the shoes and see firsthand where they hurt. They will soon get used to it and seal their stinking mouths. For all reasonable and responsible Nigerians care at the moment, sanity is beginning to come back home. We will soon let them know they are making horrible noise and overheating the system like they used to tell the APC just some couple of months ago. For now, they should put on their seatbelts and relax in that opposition cos it's going to be a long long ride. 1 Like |

philips70: Ransacking a PDP secretariat is one thing, ransacking a government house of a PDP controlled state is quite another thing entirely, don't you see the flaws in your comparison? That government house, is a symbol of the sovereignty of a people whose governor is constitutionally protected by immunity, an immunity which extends to his residence and as such while representing his party, he is far more and far beyond a mere party organ so if you can't see where your buhari's DSS went beyond their limits then this conversation is lost on you |

princeuj2015:and I stop to wonder if your father were to be a victim of this invasion knowing he was innocent would be writing this? This is democracy n due process must be followed. How would you feel if someone out of the blue accuses you of stealing on the pages of the newspapers? Fight corruption but in fairness. A man remains innocent untill proven other wise. Have the DSS in this present administration proven to be diff from those police we find in commercial buses who harrass bag carrying young men at bus stops? All of a sudden everyone except buhari is corrupt. |
