Hi,

I have a 94 civic and using Total quartz 5000 on it.

I have conflicting information regarding when to go for another oil service. Some say 5000km others say 3000, while a friend takes 6 weeks.

Please what is the correct or more appropriate option? If none suggest please.

Note that: i have not used up to 3000kms since January 2015.

Since the oil weight is 50, try quarts 7000, and go 6,000 miles(x 1.66=km)

I'm using the factory engine it came with. Thinking about changing the engine early next year.

The low it is is a headache. Been spoiling my bumper in Kaduna and Kano roads. Katsina roads are fine.

4000 to 4500km shouldn't be bad on 50 weight oil for a car this age.
