FYI: The PUNT for PRIDE tournament is arguably the longest competition on Nairaland.

I do not know of any other competition on this forum that stretches to 2 - 3 months.

PfP dey owe you?

I purposely didn't show up for the pfp, never even knew I was in group one. Was very busy that week. I participated in the last pfp. I guess it will be nice giving some of us second chance to compete against other once more. Last pfp there was adjustment. Thanks.

Don't be surprised to see one or two of them dropping a killer game at the last minute with their whole 3 slots. Just keep on praying that they should remain in hibernation.

Lemme guess, make we put your name inplace of any dormant participant.

Lol.....I no get liver for Pfp o. I just feel substituting those names would send a direct message across to future defaulters that if they don't show up they would be substituted and punished as seen fit by the organizers.

And also,since this is an online event and we can't really see the faces of the defaulters, we shouldn't rule out foul play that could give undue advantage to the people that showed up. What I'm trying to say is one person could register multiple monikers for the event.

And lastly,if those names are substituted, the organisers would make more money from the games that would be played and it also gives me more options to copy tips to play on my private merrybet account.....this is a win-win for evryone;I guess.

Chairman, I don't think it will be a good idea slot in any new participant into R32 directly. That wouldn't be fair. Whoever that will replace any dormant participant must pass through the qualification stage. Alternatively, you can select the best loser(s) at the end of the qualification stage to replace stage. In fact, this would be the best idea.

To them, the cost of appearing for a match far outweighs it's benefits.

Some of them don see better punters inside their group, so they just gave up without trying.
