i ws trying to update my avast antivirus but after installing the new version it says i am UNPROTECTED.
i tried resolvin it to no avail. now my music, videos and apps are malfuntioning. how do i retify this pls??

pls help .I av a Tab with Qualcomm Msm8212..Android version 4.4.4., Baseband version is B18-v0.4.6, Kernel version is3.4.0+... Now i av used up to 1.3GB remaining 576MB... Is it possbly for me to download Peachtree,Ms Office and Oracle 10g on it? how do i go abt it/? I dont mind buying SD card. If am to buy SD card how many GB will be suitable for it?

Thanks! i will call you after work hours today. And yes the modem works with other systems but mine.

back then when i was using a starcomms modem,i had the same experience so i was told then to reload the system..but then i asked myself "why go thru the whole stress" so i decided to investigate(i wasnt as experienced as i am now so maybe the results would have been different..
i just created a new user wit admin rights and installed it there and gradually,i migrated all my applications to the new profile..
u can do that ,if u want but why i always stress investigating the cause is go give an incisive diagnosis of what happened which i can use to promptly attend to the same problem in the future..
thats why people that always result to formatting never really and miss the whole point...in most case,it doesnt even give a permanent solution..
u can download "combofix" then run it in safe mode.....u will be surprised wit the results that small big software can do

avast?..pls always state the version of the AV(im aware most pple use the free version of avast and not the pro)..unprotected could mean the update are not up-to-date or some components are not active....i get a similar error on malwarebytes cuz i disabled malicious we protection and for my kaspersky,automatic updates is disabled.....so that may be normal...
as for ur malfunctioning apps,it may be a setting wit the antivirus...that why idont use kis(kaspersky internet security)..but kav...if not properly configure some component may stop working

i think i remember u?u are the all-in-1 lady(oracle,peachtree,avast)...and ur couting trouble again...
i can do that for u provided oracle.peachtree support android installation...besides,that memory u posted is too small..only ms office would eat it up...those ur programs are SIMULATION ENGINES and not light apps..
its possible to load partially on sd card but here is the challenge..ur RAM..a program may be 5mb installation size but wen installed,its likely to blow up x5 of its original size on execution...and may not fit in well in ur ram..
lets say u were using a windows surface pro,this would have been a simple case

pls dont misquote me....i never said uninstalling would solve or is the problem...(before avast wld sue me)..i just cited a likely example of what may go wrong if not properly configured....
im not an avast fan because it has no tolerance and its heavy....i have been using kaspersky for years now(u can check the rating online,always in top3 cuz of some many other factors)...so its a good deal if u can try it...i currently use kav 2016 +malware byte anti-malware+malwarebytes anti exploit premiums....wit that combo,im not scared to invite any virus say make we relate..

call me on 08061679732..also distance is never a barrier...with prper communication and the available resources at my disposal,we can always reach a solution...in some cases,i give the solution via call or teamviewer but in some technical cases,i have met them personally and in a rare case of distance,there is a guy on nairaland here(kok -kanayo )in 2013,sent his laptop over from aba through his brother and i even assisted him in buying/supervising his motherboard change even after i had done my work(thats faith) and i was surprised by his reward(we remain good friends and i have never even met him in person).
im expecting,a guys laptop in a few days through his dad here in lagos....wat baffled me was...as i picked up the cal,he said wanted to talk to SAMEUL...(sameolg he meant,its actually SAME OL'(d) G) then we went to call me by my full names(thanks to trucaller)..

i understand ow u mean but the manufacturers intentionally discourage the continued use of some products(like winxp)so as to promote some other products(win 8,10)..and in some cases,the new technology doesnt support old archietecture..so dont expect the manufacturers site to tell u..
u wont believe i cldnt drive my vga wen transitioned to win 10 and i dint even find it on dell website(my system is a naturally 32-bit system)but i was desperate to play fifa 15 ut so i upgraded to 64bit...unfortunately,i still cant cuz of my video graphics(ea sports said the revolution of games is designed to work on 64bit and not 32bit)....in the end,it was my 32bit win 7 driver that worked for my vga

Pls engineers in the house, i just discovered that some of my pc keys arent responding. I had to use the onscreen keyboard to input my password. The funny part is that when the non-responding key is pressed down, no other key will respond except the non-responding key is released. Pls is it a hardware or software prob cos i got no professional engineer around my location 2 avoid stories dat touch(hp pavillion g6 4gb ram)
