I went to buy jeans in younger plaza, dey brought some out and said dis ones re 8k, 5k 3k 2k.

We started negotiations and d ones for 8k, I priced it down to 6k and collected it and 2 of 2k.

As I turned around, d guy carry am wan enter inside, I said, way! Ke ije? Lol he said, him wan go bring original one, I said, make him leave am like dat, na fake I like wear. With my dressing, he couldn't believe I would buy it.

Same when I was schooling in awka, na so I buy Belgium tv, dem carry am down make dem put for carton, I bought Suny oh, as I from osha reach awka, na one China TV I see.

I totally blamed my self for not using eke awka. I dey form smart. Lol

I just remembered how i was duped by one of these thieves outside 'Emeka offor' plaza... those around Anambra state will be familiar with this plaza..


So, i was in ss1, february 2010, when this happened..last December, 2009. Our mum gave us, my sisters and i money to buy new xmas cloth... mine was 6k. my sisters bought new cloth and shoes, except me. i bought phone with it instead. Nokia 6200 @4,500. memory card 1gig @1,000. then t.fee N500....


I started enjoying my new phone.. fast forward to 2010. the phone started disturbing. From flex problem to virus.. I was flashing it every week. i wasnt happy again. i felt depressed. I later made up my mind to sell the phone and get another one. but the problem was 'who is going to buy it'. an idea came. counter balance. thats the only option i had.

So on the d-day. i embarked on the journey with 2k. when i got to emeka offor. as usual "guy counter ballance or memory?"
i ignored those guys... went straight to one of the quarters beside the main plaza.. i approach a young guy near a show case... i told him what i came for, and he said 'you are at the right place... we started negotiating. at last, i gave him my phone, memory card and the 2k for one old symbian phone.. they call it nokia egg.. i was happy, atleast i have disposed this troublemaker. i thought i have cheated the guy... when i got home. I was so happy. charged the phne up.


Time to enjoy my new phone... after 20 mins of Pressing it.. "kpu kpu". what! battery empty. the phone was very hot. i charged it again, and same thing happened...ghen ghen...

I didnt know what to do...to cut the story short... i went there tomorrow morning, since i have spent my money and couldnt ask my mum for another cash...i went with little cash.. when i got ther the guy was telling me diferent story...that the phone is bigger than the battery.... "guy this ur phone no good. give me my phone and cash bk. "
He laughed, hahaha...and ordered me out of his shop.. i couldnt fight. i told his neighbour to help me beg him. he ignored.....


I left, heartbroken and in tears... no cash to board a bus.. i tried selling the phone there...but those wicked guys priced it 500...
over my dead body... i cant sell it that amount.. i trekked home... 2hours journey... Onitsha to Umusiome-Nkpor

Mine happend dis year. Infact it hapend around July. I 've already heard bad tinz about these piple.... I didnt like my new Mtn android again, nd my younga bro suggestd I sold it, but i was stil undecided. We were at main markt d nxt day to get sum stuff and wen we passed emeka offor plaza, one guy walked up to us nd said he's into buyin nd sellin of fones nd b4 I could say Jack, my younga bro was negotiatin d price of d android wit d guy. Had no option other dan 2 folow dem, we got to one of d stalls were we met two guyz, nd he tld us he wld lyk 2 check 4 faults on d fone. So he askd d two guyz 2 check it 4 hm. D guyz were welcoming oo, nd we thought we were dealing wit humans. One of d guyz connectd d fone 2 a lappy 2 check 4 faults. To cut d long story short, he said he repaired d fone onlyn nd my new mtn android had plenty faults nd he used his mb to repair it nd bla bla bla. nd he billed us 4000. Na dea i turn craze woman. We startd arguing nd shouting there. Finally shaa, they freed us after i kept rantin dat 'I no b Onitsha gal' and d way my bro nd I were conversin in d Nigerian pidgin, they wld hav thought dat we are one of these barracks shildren and we had plenty backup thats why we were shoutin at them. D guys were like, i didnt behave learned nd I'm nt worthy 2 b called a studnt nd bla bla bla, xo dem dey expect 2 obtian 4k my hand. Na d summary be dis shaa.. Made up my mind NEVER to visit there again. Dnt trust these Ibo guyz. *I'm Ibo though.

bro if tell you eee......there was a day i went to Ochanja,near that roundabout to get for myself a new white polo for my jeans.......i told the whitebeard short youngman that deals on those stuffs to get me that extra-large shirt,as it will fit in with my jeans most........the man told me #2,500,after negotiation with my sense of bagain,we concluded at #1,600.......the man brought it down from the hanger,after i have tested it,he took it inside and get a nylon and packaged it for me........i took my cloth my home but when i wanted to show it to my sister,behold its one kinda brownish-white polo like that o......Oh my God,i screamed,this is not what i paid for......i returned to his shop in the next 3mins because i live at fegge very close but the told me that i must have misplace it somewhere..........to be candid,from that day on,i started going to market with nylon so that you won't go inside and change my stuff for me

Lesson learnt, don't try to play smart on a fraudster. He'll beat you to your game

Everybody living at Onitsha has a story about EMEKA OFFOR PLAZA. I can still remember 22nd December 2014 when I bought one rubbish GFIVE 18000 and when they want to send some app to me, they took my 4G MEMORY CARD. The phone is spoilt now and the parts no dey market. They confused me with warranty card but when I went there, the shop no longer exist.
Recently, my brother went there with Bold5 900 that has charging problem, they were pricing it 1000.

BUT THEY REMAIN THE BEST PLAZA IN ONITSHA AND THE MOST DUBIOUS

TOOK MY PHONE FOR MAJOR REPAIR, EM' COLLECT 500 HUNS 4RM ME TO 'DEDICATE' THE PHONE;i.e just to know what the problem is.. JUST TO COME BACK TO COLLECT MY PHONE THE MAN WAS ASKING ME WETHER I BROUGHT MY PHONE TO HIM SHOP FOR REPAIR...
