pls, i need advice. I hav a righty guitar as a gift but i want to play left handed. would it jst be possible to flip da guitar upside down so dat my dominant left hand does da picking, while my right hand does da fretting.. i knw da chords wud be upside down bt i dont want to restring my guitar to avoid complications, help

but it is still possible wit learnin when it is flipped

it is.. Sure.. Anything is possible.. I know a fellow guitarist doing it that way...

The only problem is, he is slow playing common tunes.. Hence, a loner.. Its tough playing stuff exactly as u hear them unlike when u play normally

But if i restring it. wud da chord be da same as dat of a normal guitar or wud it stil be backwards. Like, i hav a left handed friend who plays a lefthanded guitar but he still has to flip da chords in his head upside dwn inorder to play
