In as much as I respect DSP and believe he's one of the most powerful Ijaw leaders, I doubt OBJ was jittery because of him. OBJ a retired general would never be jittery for anyone. It's not as if he has stopped being evil so as to say he was feeling remorse. He is still thesame evil incarnate. So I doubt this part of the story. 1 Like |

Benswaggy: 'Everyone' in your submission is wrong. Obasanjo was bold enough to get conviction for DSP. If Buhari, corupption talks are anything to go by with, if and when Obasanjo is investigated and found wanting, then he can be sent to prison! No one man or group of people is bigger then Nigeria. |

Why would anyone with iota of brain air this man's comment? This is a man whose action and inaction led millions of people in his own land Into the gallows of poverty and death. He plundered the wealth of bayelsa, underdeveloped the state; and now this same epitome of corruption is calling God's name? I weep! 2 Likes |

handie: ROFLMAO! Can you believe this shameless b@$.t@rd's stunt in England, made the British embassy in Tokyo deny me transit visa in '05, stating my passport was fake (same passport I've used for over 3 years, to roughly a dozen countries)! I raised hell, I complained, called our consular officer . . . It was later I realized I went to the embassy same week Alams sneaked out of England, dressed as a woman on a fake passport -- I just 'tire'. 2 Likes |

Nigerians love stories and these incompetent and corrupt politicians know that majority of Nigerians are the most gullible people in the world. They love lies more than the truth. One question, what did he achieve as the Governor of Bayelsa state with more than N170 billion annual revenue allocations from the Federal Government? Former President Olusegun Obasanjo allocated billions of naira in annual revenue allocations to all these State Governors in the Niger Delta and other regions of Nigeria and they misappropriated their allocations for their own investments in real estate, luxury cars and SUVs, private jets and other status symbols and failed woefully to develop their states and left many of their people jobless and poor. That is why thousands of their miserable and poor people leave their underdeveloped states and migrate to Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo States where the smarter and wiser Yoruba Governors have proved to be more accountable and responsible political leaders who used their own revenue allocations to develop their communities and create jobs for their people and migrants from the Niger Delta, eastern states and northern states of Nigeria. Therefore anyone commending this conscienceless and shameless political rogue contractor is a FOOL. 2 Likes |

Story for the gods! A military general who fought for the unity of the nation, one of the most respected and recognized Nigeria's president is now scared of death and even afraid of a 21st century selfish politician who almost looted the entirety of Bayelsa state treasury..hmmm what happened to the principles of the guilty are always afraid. The theory of Deprivation Frustration and Aggression is on play.this is pure assassination of character, it is a sacrilege and aberration. Desist from this blasphemy or you will face a second mightier hammer.. |
