mrtopeqs:That was really funny bro i must say!!!!......................Bro,am a firm supporter of tapping deep into one's full potential. You know, scientists say the smartest person does not utilize more than 10% of the brain and yet look at all the inventions we have in the world. That always puzzles me.So i always try to learn anything i come across and see my limits. It's just that sometimes we dont stretch ourselves in Africa, especially the ladies. We wud be amazed at the awesome things we cud do! Again,av learnt that people who get retrenched from jobs are often people who do not add an extra value to the company.Companies look at how they can manage cost and still achieve big. So,for instance,an employee employed for his knowledge on Web design but with an extra skill on the side, lets say ethical hacking, wud be spared his job compared to another employee with just the skill of Web design having no other edge. So,in this world that we live in,av learnt to always learn anything you have the opportunity of learning, for nothing is a waste. By the way,am about to work on an artist's job now.So...........the more money for me!!! Lmao. 2 Likes |

IDGAF: I get your point............I buy into the idea of having an extra knowledge......if you add extra value than what your work is, it would be difficult to get relieved of your job to cut cost as you'll be too important to lose......I learnt something there, you inspire me to have another thing to work on during school so as to have a wider knowledge of things. I think its a little bit of laziness that often kill our learning skill in Africa, but sometimes there's really no platform that we can use. I'd like to be a motivational speaker, to try to encourage people to come out of their shell, guide them and show them the way of things, what to do and how to go about it. hopefully school will give me the chance to meet people like you, who are ready to also talk to people and advise them to try many things at a time, to set up a career seminar or something....just to encourage people. anyway bro.............. God bless our hustle bro. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Adeshizzy:Bro,every bit of computer skill I have,I taught myself.I have never received private tutorials from no one, only advises and constructive criticisms lyk from matthew80 and GideonG,that has really helped me to grow.It takes passion, thats just all it takes.I also taught myself Ethical hacking.......This is what most people pay N300,000-N750,000 to learn. Really, there's nothing you want to learn that you can't.Everything is available for free.Lyk i said, all it takes is just passion and determination. You can even become a pro Doctor or Lawyer without spending a dime or even been around the four walls of a school. |
