I'm also experiencing same. I unrooted my device, uninstalled Busybox and some other apps that messes with system files, but still unsble to install the update.
What i may do tonight is to wipe my device, then flash the device with the stock firmware. If we are having such experience with this update, it means same will happen when Marshmallows is pushed to our device.

Has anyone successfully made a NANDROID backup using MTK droid tools?

Not an iHot2 user tho buh Es File Explorer should do music player you can choose from ttpod, jet audio, zplayer or even Google play music as per gallery Google photos should do or any other Gallery App from the store

This is not a strictly mtk phone. To the best of my knowledge, mtk droid and SP flash tool are not working fine with it. If you want a nandroid backup, use Online Nandroid Manager. I have done it. But what is the use? There is no custom recovery to use it with.

Might be the memory card u are using, change ur memory card and the problem should stop. I had the same issue with my hot 2 until I changed my memory card.

go to settings and do that... there's an option for you to choose that there

for music..use poweramp..for filemanager,use Es file explorer

I restored factory setting and the SD now comes up whenever I connect to my PC. Thnk God.

I was able to update, BT after d upgrade d fonr gets hot while browsing.. Hope my device is safe
