Hello,

A friend needs help in deciding which is a better option. She knows d pay package for both organization, but won't mind further clarification from insiders as to short and long term advantages/disadvantages of both organization.

Thanks

As for your friend,I can tell of glo callcenter. They run a shift job,you will be tied down there, don't expect any promotion or review. Though the shift will give you sometime to do your personal stuff. Note that glo is so unstructured, one man business, eye-service and favoritism. Sometimes you will get frustrated, no career there and above all you can be fired at will. I no nothing about multichoice. Please I don't work in glo but I know a couple of close friends who work there.
Bottomline is after awhile you become unproductive and redundant.this is just on a general note.

Globacom, the pay is 73 after tax, shift is 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm. 6000 credit monthly, access to staff bus bt no meal ticket. Also, you are not sure of salary increase after 2years. Isn't multichoice is a better option?

I asked how the applied and she said all she did was give an insider/staff her CV for both companies and she was called for different stages of interviews. Although she said for the multichoice, it was based on referral. But for glo, she didn't know anybody, all she did was go to the HR office and approached a staff with her CV and she got lucky to be invited for interviews.
