I have only transfered money once to my FL account usung my First Bank account. To me, it just doesn't make sense transfering money at the rate of 222 per dollar and when you are cashing out you get paid 195 naira per dollar.

Yeah, depends on the budget of the client as Twosquare said. Tell him USD 50 and monitor his reaction. He may be okay with it but if you finally settle between USD 20 to USD 30, you have a good deal.

Thanks. But this is for a Nigerian Client. And since 20$ roughly equals 4k. He has 35 of such document and I don't think he can afford that. Well never the less, Thanks for the response. I'll keep you posted however it goes.

You can charge per word, per page or per hour. Choose the one that suits your work schedule. For per word you can do 0.10cents for big clients or 0.5cents for small clients(Indians) whatever your charges are let it be within those range. Now if it's a large continuous project, I'll advice your do per page charge. NOTE: Clients who are stingy would like always insist in per hour charge, Please don't fall for it.( Indians are fond of this) you'll profit more on per word. Per page charge is just at the middle, to be on the safe side charge per word.

ADVICE: I will advice you ask if its a continuous project, then what ever price you give let the client know is because you want them to use your service repeatedly.

In all, it depends on the pocket of the client and your bargaining skills.

my friend make i tell you how to do am. first, you must dey very flexible. to be frank, i fit collect $5 for 1, 800 words. i don use 30 minutes proofread 2000 words before. that is if the person sabi write well. but if you wan grow, first dey collect small small money. when your reputation don grow like wizkid own, you fit even charge an arm and a leg. as people don already advice you, it depends on the clienti.
