I think the vagina itching is as a result of increase in hormones in the body. I had similar experience when I was 14weeks pregnant. I inserted mycoten for three days and my Va.Gina kept itching me especially when I wanna pee. I stopped using the mycoten insertion after 3days. After my first trimester,the itching stopped.

Registration is on Mondays. The fee is about 12k to 15k. She should go very early. As early as 7am so that once she is done with the reg she will be able to do her blood work( they stop taking blood samples by 12 and she has to come back the next day) the lab test is about 2,800. She then heads of to do her HIV test at Randle Gen Hospital but she should ask cos I think they have started doing it at Gbaja, I am not very sure.
She will have to see them the next Monday for her file to be officially opened and she will go along with all her test results. After she has done this she will be given appointment to see the Dr.

If their wahala is too much, just head o"ut to Akerele Health Centre in front of Eko Hospital. They are cheaper and far more friendly. That is where I take my immnunizations from. And now they have a fully functional maternity unit.
But you have to get there early if you need to get everything done in one day.

By 7pm on tuesday 8/9/15,i felt something sticky running down my legs,went to the loo and found what they called the show(38 wks),i waited till husby came back ,told him,by 10pm we were at the hospital because we were told to report as soon as we saw such.i was checked and we went back home.
Just as we got home,mild contractions started,it was becoming regular and painful,by 4:30am on 9/9/15,we were back,i was already 4cm dilated.
My contractions was so intense that one started right after the other ended it was rily painful(i requested for epidural but was turned down )i was cautioned not to cry while my husband was even crying(,they later sent him away),gynae said for a1st timer it was going fast.
By 6pm i entered de labour room and with the God of women on my side birthed one big baby boy sixteen mins later.
The devil came after when placenta no gree comot even with all the injections ,i started shivering on the table while praying for God to perfect his work,40 mins later this rily big placenta came out with great clots of blood,we had won.
Only God can do this things,the reason why my ppl call him 'OlORO iHE LORO IHE LORO ENYI'.Thank you Jesus.

If she still wants to use a private hospital try Parklande Specialist Hospital surulere. The OBGYN is fantastic the only downside is antenatal starts at 3pm.

It's so frustrating. I do take a whole day off work for this injection o. Worst thing,theirs is on Monday( imagine wahala for office mamas)

One day,after waiting till 1pm,they say we should come back the next day. How will I explain that in the office that a whole place like ogudu health centre does this?

you'll have to endure the itch till you give birth. I don't think it has any effect on baby.

My precious little girl was born yesterday September 9th after 19 hours of intense labour (smh... now I know why they call it labour).

To think that after all my sufferhead she turned out to be a carbon copy of her Dad. Chai! Can't even find anything about her that looks remotely like me. There goes my mini me dream. It is well... lol... We thank God it ended in praise!

Mother and daughter are healthy and doing very well. Like play like play I am now someone's mother. To God be the Glory. I have never felt greater love, joy and gratitude in my heart.

In fact, after seeing and holding my little bundle of joy I totally forgot the horrific birth story. Will be back when I remember the details....

@zaynie, I didn't do anything special my sis, let me just say is a supernatural delivery, even when d midwife was saying dis ur baby big my mind was like am gonna have tear but my baby just pop out after d 4th push. Don't worry ursef, it will be an easy one Insha Allah. And let me say dis even my previous delivery dt I do a lot of things(perineal massage, sex )I hv it, bt dis one I just take ma mind off it.

Just pray! Good midwives/ doctors try hard to avoid giving u a cut and also they allow u get to 10cm before they ask you to push. To avoid a tear u should always follow their instructions too.finally zip ya mouth daris control chop chop az in no junk. Lol
