OP's comment that al assad would have been defeated if afghanistan and iraq had not been invaded by america. The truth is, the americans are too blinded by the oil wealth in the ME, that saudi arabia would draw them into a bling arab war that is fundamental and dates way back before america itself was concieved. The europeans know better that is why they have kept their distance from meddling in the affairs of the Middle East, unlike the americans who still see the war from the US-Russio cold war standing point.

The truth is that humanity has made a mess and mockery of religion, the catholic and protestestants started the IRA irish war in ireland, the angolan civil war, the uganda-congo war, the BH-Nigeria war(started like a sharia seeking insurgence, now we know better) the current ME war is of two face, sunni-shia arab and now Al qaeda-ISIS. Truth be told, all these wars have political undertones that are made to look like religious wars. Until the muslim world come to the round table and accept each other as one, there might never be peace.

As it is now, the brits are calling on cameron to give the order for troops to be deployed alongside russia against ISIS, whoever thought this would happen. Only a religious war could bring about this sort of alliance. On a final note, muslim world must learn to be tolerant of each other and others or else i doubt if there would be any mosque standing in the next 50 years.

The reason I was aggressive was because of the posts of True2*god. He's fond of writing irrational posts, this is not the first time we're arguing about an issue like this. Many of them are in Arab countries, if you read the OP you would have seen that. Moreover, Saudi Arabia has been accepting refugees as guests(by not placing them in camps) since 2011 when the Syrian war started.
