You guys should make sure to check the Special Consideration Remarks in JAMB brochure or preferably, the website of the school of your choice for courses with, for example '... either two of Social Science subjects'. I've got a friend who applied for Accountancy (of 262 cut-off mark) in OAU and got 281 as average aggregate in UTME and post-UTME, but has not been admitted definitely because he did Commerce instead of Accounts in JAMB. So guys, make enough research. Goodluck! 1 Like 1 Share |

You're so on point, because I did this year's Jamb (applied for Unilag) put l later found out that my combination of subjects could actually be wrong according to the Faculty/Course requirements I found on the school's website. And believe me there are thousands of prospective students who are also caught up in this web! I did Use of English language, Lit. in English, Government and Economics scoring 234 (for Psychology). why wait for another JAMB, when you do an A'level programme now and be in 200L next year without UTME. IJMB and JUPEB Admissions are currently on.

ProphetUdeme:I'm not a student, I'm actually requesting this 4my little niece. I can assure u that your assumption that CRK is "cheap", is exactly why students pass other subjects, but fail CRK. No course is easy, neither is any difficult. Even d best pastors could attempt teaching CRK, but can't do it as good as one who studied it. It's like assuming that Maths and further Maths are same thing. I guess u completed ur ss3, then I hope u got 2d part of CRK that deals with d same story, but told in different ways by d synoptic gospels, being aware that ur examiner could ask u to narrate d birth or temptation of Christ according to Matthew, IF U QUOTE MARK (yet they are so identical) AND UR WRONG. How abt those names of pple n places that are so identical, such as Barrabas, Bassabas n Barnabas, what of Simon n Simeon? Make d mistake of writing one name, when I mean d other AND UR WRONG. Do u also know that when u narrating a story (assuming u writing WAEC CRK), for every name of person, place or thing which u mis-spell, such as "Isreal", instead of "Israel" u will be charged 0.5 mrks. Do u also know that wen u suppose to mention a name, but u skip it (maybe Bcoz u forgot d exact name) u will also be charged 0.5mrks? For instance, u write "Jesus went to Gathsamane to pray with Peter, James and one other disciple..." u will be charged 0.5mrks as well. THESE ARE JUST A FEW, PLZ NOTE THAT THESE THINGS ARE MORE CRITICAL FOR ONE LIKE YOU WHO IS SITTING FOR UTME. ALL THESE I KNOW BCOZ I MRK WAEC N I'M A LECTURER. My brother, I strongly suggest u adjust your understanding n take all your subjects equally serious. 1 Like |
