Hmmmmm............This is interesting!!

Good day to the New comers, SOB's (Senior Officers on Board) on this thread, the Die harders, the Machines and the Sucide squadrons as well as all silent onlookers!

I've actually been watching - silently - all manner of dates, suggestions and counter-suggestions as to why the forms are not out yet!! I believe the change government as well Nigeria's current macro-economic position shouldn't be ignored!! The military has a lot of programs/agenda within it annual calendar which requires cash to achieve, DSSC/SSC recruitment is just one of many of them!!

But for whatever reason they choose not to sell the forms, its should count as a blessing in disguise for another day to get set for recruitment activities; to avoid malingering when the time to submit better parade arises!!

That means you spent only two days at the academy before going back home?, because credential screening is the first stage of the selection board...

hello sir. I'm a fresh graduate who also hope to apply for SSC this year. I want to know the stages involved in the selection exercise before the final selection in Kaduna. is there any entrance exams to be written after the form is purchased? please I'll appreciate if you can brief me on the whole selection process. Thanks. I pray that u will succeed this time around

Amen ooo, well there is only one selection exercise(board) that is two weeks selection board at kaduna. No entrance exam b4 selection board, it is normally done as part of the selection board. Candidates were shortlisted base on follow-up,random selection and luck. The selection board list will be published on the national dailies and selected ones will report to NDA for two weeks, it comprises credential screening, medicals, race, obstacle crossing, psychology test, apptitude test and finally board interview with senior officers.
Thanks

Not at all!! What I am actually implying that even if form comes out within the next 3 weeks of this post; its of no relevance if U are not ready to compete in the recruitment process!!

It doesn't matter how young you are; infact, the younger the better!! As long as your credentials are OK: fine!! If U are even 20 years of age and have your degree and your credential are Ok, Medicals are OK; your prospects are brighter. They don't frown upon people who are below the minimum age; its those that are above the maximum age that they frown upon

Reliable beyond all reasonable doubt, most especially when you look your age because their are some 37years old folks that will still claim under 25 when they get there!!

But if U still doubt this info; don't take my word for it, ask a security personnel, preferably one that is a commissioned officer!!

WASH !!! Pure fabu , if you're under 24 and you go for SSC, you will be send straight back to your village without hesitation and ask to go matured b4 coming over, even if you're 23, it the rules except for dssc then you are in.

Bro for SSC , you're over age, it 24-29 years of age, so you need to reduce your age to suit you but make sure you do that wisely, for dssc, if your course is advertised, you're in, it 22-35. All the best

Not always the case? The rules are the rules and they are followed to letter but in the area of age they are bent from time to time (only if it will promote competition)!!

No need for name calling here but I am acquianted with persons who have broken the lower limit age barrier and are currently in the service!! Trouble starts when competition is too high, only then is lower age limit strictly enforced!!!

With respect to age, screening out people who are above the stipulated age limit is non-negotiable; but below is flexible!!
