When Christ first sent out his apostles- Matt. 10:5-15, he told them “but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel…” not to gentiles or Samarians.
When Jesus died, and was risen, he gave his apostles, and disciples the greatest commission to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Mark 16:15-16
On the Pentecost day when Peter and other apostles preached and 3 thousand souls added to the Church… I mean people of different races “Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.. Acts 2:6-45
The Holy Spirit led the Apostles and in one of their teachings, Paul wrote in I Cor. 16:1-2 “Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come”
Contrary to the assumption of some, the early Christian church and ministry were not supported by tithes but by freewill offering. Many Christians pooled their goods and shared their possessions equally (Acts 4:32-37). Apostles urged Christians to give according to his means (II Cor. 8:2-15) 9:6-12, I John 3:17-18)
Let’s go back, the law of tithe; only Levites have the right to receive tithe of the people. After all, the Jewish leaders have the Old Testament as their Scriptures and that’s what it commanded. And since there is no Temple in existence (and subsequently no ordained Levites or Priests serving in the Temple), then a major factor in fulfilling the laws of tithing does not exist in our modern world. The early church had no tithing system. The tithes of the Old Testament were regarded as abrogated by the law of Christ.
Do not be deceived, there are lots of laws that God gave the Israelites in the Old Testament that are no longer in existence, but lovers of money, and their stomachs hold on dearly to the law of tithe to enrich themselves. A friend once told me he would continue to give tithe, and God would ask his pastor what he did with the money…lol. That is not a good thing to say or do. Go out among them because they serve not our Father who is in heaven but they serve their stomachs., Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves…. Matth. 7:7-29. They continue to teach about tithe because if they change, there members will ask them what happened to the tithes they have paid over the years.
He that has ears let him hear.

Firstly, Whether one tithes or not is never a problem. Either way God still blesses you.

Secondly, most pastors that support tithing do not do it out of selfish interest, even if tithing might not be commanded in the N.T, they do it out of what they learnt growing up, the culture they were inoculated into, in all honesty and sincerity of their hearts.

So because someone preaches tithing does not mean anyone should judge him cause God knows his heart.

Hmmm... even when they know that tithe is not authorized among Christians, the pastors still want to receive tithes because we're talking about money. The love of money, the root of all evil.

You just qouted a passage that you don't know what it means "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone" Do you even know how the Bible is divided? When did Christianity actually start? before Christ or after his resurrection?
Please don't be myopic about the truth. Read my script again.
