my padi served there. He told me that their nysc state director is very strict, and the camp there was totally in her hand. There was no bullying by soldiers, no campfire (nt sure tho), and the freewill shaggng present at other camps was unheard of. Left to me i'm cool with all of that. Except if the facilities are BS. When we get there we'll find out the truth.

But in my opinion, Nas State camp is the best in Nigeria. No sentiments.

My friend is serving there presently and he said same. He also said the woman is nice nd Akwa Ibom is okay especially if you get posted to a government owned parastatal and outside Uyo since the high cost of living ish is noticed mainly in Uyo. You know when highlife doesn't exist most peeps get discouraged? Me I don't really feel it differently like I would have...

Mind you, camp could have the best facilities and the state would be crap! The best camp facilities could be seen in northern states + camp is just 21days, service is 10months!
My friend also sent me some pics sha, and the camp I saw wasn't bad at all.

Here are the list of things that you will need for the 3weeks
NYSC Orientation Camp.....


1. Call up letter(Original&10 Photocopies)


2. School I D card(Original&10 Photocopies)


3. Notification of Result(Original&10 Photocopies)


4. Passport photographs (About 10-15 copies)


5. Stationery e.g pen, Jotter for lectures, stappler&tippex.
(Note:- The 1st 4 are for registration&do not laminate your
call-up letter pls)


6. Round necked white T shirt atleast 3


7. White shorts atleast 2


8. Plain white sneakers/tennis shoes(rubber) (1)


9. White socks atleast 2pairs


10. Mosquito treated net (to guide your belongings)


11. Basic drugs panadol,paracetamol,etc (not necessary
because it will be available at the NYSC clinic)


12. Padlocks


13. Waist pouch


14. Beverages


15. Dettol, bath soap&Detergents (if you don't wanna spend
for washing)


16.Towel&face towel


17. A pair of slippers


18. Bedsheets


19. Flashlight (Torchlight phone)


20. Food flask, bowl and cup


21. Sunglasses

22. Extra phone batteries and charger

23. Cash from N10,000 upward( if you want to enjoy Maami
Market).......

Do you even know the Camp in Niger state currently has a mobile toilet which was not there yes back which means tins might hav improve in other states

Try tour all this camps/state and come educate us better thank you.

Absolutely right. Ain't heading to any degraded camp, just like u stated in ur previous post, lagos has one of d best camps , by God's grace will be posted dia. . About PPA, is it done randomly? Or base on one's discipline?

When you go camp, you go see the one I d tell you..they sell it in camp too and its for camp purpose only. Olami90 already said he'll use it for other purposes too... So 3500 for 1 won't be bad at all IF it has quality.
