True west Africans have many looks but 90% of the time you can tell an africans from others blacks and you can tell west Africans from other blacks.

Heck you can even tell Africans from different countries. I am always able to tell Nigerians from Ghanaians, Ghanaians from Liberians, Guineans and so on. lots of times you can even go by tribes.

I think it is mainly by Ethnic group sometimes, can you tell a Ghanaian Hausa person apart from a Nigerian Hausa? Ghanaians are a beautiful people through and through regardless of ethnic group. They have some of the best looking women in the world.

You are definitely right that you can't tell ethnic groups apart. Tribes such as Mandingos, Hausa and Fulani are all over west Africa so you really can't tell them apart except for many through language.

I am talking about tribes that are typically base in one country. Most of the times you can tell a Nigerian from a Ghanaian.
