Nigeria Destined To Fail Unless There Is A Break-up - FFK by kikesblog(m): 1:41am On Sep 16, 2015 |
A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says Nigeria has been destined to fail since its creation by the British in 1914. He said the British created Nigeria such that the ‘poor North’ would continue to rule while the ‘rich South’ will remain oppressed. Fani-Kayode said this in a Facebook post on Tuesday titled, “The 9th Earl of Bathrust and the Nigerian State.” He said shortly before independence, the British gave the North permanent rule. He said, “The Nigeria that they (British) handed over to us in 1960 was nothing but an unworkable artificial state and a poisoned chalice. It was destined to fail right from the outset. “Worse still, they handed us that poisoned chalice with a malicious and mischievous intent and without any recourse to our people in terms of any form of a national referendum.” Fani-Kayode, said what the British did in Nigeria was replicated in other countries like India and Sudan, adding that those countries had since divided having woken up politically. He said it was regrettable that Nigerians had failed to take their destinies into their own hands. He added, “The British did the same thing in varying degrees when they left virtually each and every one of their other third world colonies. The most obvious cases, however, were Nigeria, Sudan, India and the nation that was formerly known as Malaya. “Every one of these four countries had monumental problems with sustaining their unity after independence and all of them, with the exception of Nigeria, were compelled to breakup into smaller entities before they could bring out the best in themselves as a people and fully exercise their human potential. “Consequently, India broke up into three and became India, Pakistan and Bangladesh; the Sudan broke into two and became Southern Sudan and the Sudan and Malaya broke into two and became Malaysia and Singapore. Nigeria has yet to find the courage and fortitude to go that far and whether we will eventually break up or not remains to be seen.” Fani-Kayode said if the terms of the ‘marriage’ between the North and the South were not reviewed, there could be further crisis. He added, “The result of the amalgamation was predictable. It was either the ‘poor husband’ (the North) would fully subjugate and eventually kill the ‘rich wife’ (the South) or the ‘rich wife’ would fully subjugate and eventually kill the ‘poor husband’. And we are right in the middle of that struggle for mutual subjugation till today.” The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain said the only way to address the “unfair” arrangement was a complete devolution of powers. He said Nigeria must embrace true federalism. - Punch But what does man really want? Should Nigeria also break up to actuallize her Destiny. I think FFK is Right. It's glaring that since 1912, south has been paying the bills of the North yet they remain ungrateful and proud. Let there be splitting!! 4 Likes |

He was a minister under the failed Obasanjo Administration, yet he never raised this in the FEC meeting. He should STFU! I have always maintained that Nigeria is structured not to progress but to have problems. We MUST re-nogotiate the country among all the ethnic nationalities for us to make progress as a united people and solve some fundamental recurring challenges. If a country's system is good, advocacy for secession will be minimal or non-existing. At present, so many things are just not right, hence, the growing call for disinitegration- which is not illegitimate when one look at it from the angle of the right to self-determination. 5 Likes |

I thank God eyes are now opening, its time for everybody to go their way. Like I have said in previous threads, we yorubas will support the biafrans in whatever decision they take. We can't wait to sanitize our region. God bless the various nation states that constitute Nigeria. 3 Likes |

"The greatest deception a man suffers is from his own opinion" - Leonardo Da vinci "All the war-propaganda, and all the screaming and lies and hatred is invariably come from those who are not fighting"-George Powell "What is evil? Whatever Springs from weakness"-Friedrich Nietzsche. The singular act of GEJ to conceeds defeat amidst war chest beaters and secessionists like ffk and his like is the most adorable thing he has done that needs commendation from all Nigerians. If it were one of those hawkers we won't have been typing on nairaland. 1 Like |

exactly... every other of the British former colonies Have been divided and are doing fine. these backward thinking northerners want to continue with one Nigeria because of their backward state orchestrated by their leaders. u cannot maintain unity by coercion. for those saying he was in obj's govt and he said nothing like this. he said nothing like this because we thought the north has repented from their power is ours mentality not knowing that obj was put there to put down the clamour for the reclamation of abiola's mandate by the southwest. the 2015 election really shows that the north still has the mentality of power is ours and ours alone. it's ironical that the same south west is their major supporter in the south, though there are still few enlightened ones who can reason. this country can never develop with the northerners always struggling to be around the corridors of power. 1 Like |

Alcatraz001: What is your problem this man? You claim it's time for everybody to go their way, yet, you yorubas has never show any actual desire toward your oduduwa republic. SE and SS don't need your worthless support to get biafra, as long as you don't interfere in the it. But , when will you yorubas learn from the biafrans and start agitating for your oduduwa republic. It's obvious you like an oduduwa republic, but just that you lack the courage require to work for it. Pathetic! |

Though this man is a reputed talkative, he speaks the brutal truth sometimes Nigeria is really built on satanic and occultic foundation Giant of failures I prefer to be in quite a small country where things work than being sandwiched in a damnable zoo of a country |

We won't interfere but what we are saying is that we can help to make it faster. I have directed that all Yoruba's desist henceforth from discouraging or making jest of the agitations by the director. |

Alcatraz001: How many agreed? Most of you all over there want One Nigeria, the biggest haters of word Biafra on Twitter are Yoruba people, and Yoruba twitter overlords make jest of anything Biafra. Check Ogundamisi, Ogunlesi, Ayourb, Dapo, Omojuwa. Omojuwa and Ogundamisi were practically laughing that Navy shot people on peaceful evangelism unarmed. If you think am lying check the their timeline since perhaps May. And these overlords have thousands of Yoruba followers who help them to retweet those their rubbish. |

Truly Nigeria needs to break up. Biafra is already taking the lead, i expect the SW to equally pull out. The SW should NEVER join the north is fighting to bring back Biafra. I equally believe that the north will successfully rule self. The fact remains that thier culture and religion are at variance with SE SS and SW |
