Greetings... Please, is there any course or program that a DVM ( Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) can do in the US that will make him/her a Human Doctor? I heard there is a course to undergo for good six months in the US that will equate a DVM to Human doctor but I do not have any idea about it or if at all its true or not. Please if you have any information on this, do not hesitate to explain to me. Thanks 1 Like |

Demaejy: They are not the same, so there is no course you can do. You either go to med school for four years to get your MD or continue as a vet. Good luck ! |

Hello everyone, I really must commend you all for your very informative and insightful posts here. This is the Nigeria Nigerians crave, but the media won't capture. Anyway, I'll like to know what the Job prospect is like for Environmental Engineers in the U.S. I've read online reviews, and most seem to be dissuading. I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, but would like to major in Environmental Engineering; it's where my strength lies. However, I'm ready to give it some thought if it turns out seemingly an unpropitious choice. Also, I'll be writing the GRE in three weeks, and saying I'm still very much unprepared would be an understatement. I've got the following schools in mind: University of Cincinnati New Mexico Institute of Mining and Tech. University of Wyoming Texas A & M, Kingsville Given I'm not as rich as most of you lol, I'll be needing some sort of funding. Do you think these schools are relatively safe, and should fund? I've made my enquiries but would still need firsthand information, pardon me. Special shout out to Slimmy05, Imperiouxx, Sirriddy, Bigfrancis21, Walspring, Ebdib, MsNas, Profojah, Dicapino, and in fact, everyone lol! You lots don't know how much I know about you. 1 Like |

Dem Approve my Visa Today oooo! Visa was approved at Abuja Consular office this morning. Scheduled an appointment for 9:00 am and I got there by 08:01 am (went there with my sis). We were ordered to form a queue which we did, one young man came there was asked to return home because his appointment was on 16th (yesterday) and he was like: So can i go for the interview? (Laf wan kill me die! ). After the first queue in which I was asked of my ds-160, i-20, passport photo and int'l passport, I was asked to go into the hall to do my bio-metrics, which I did. So many people were dished the blue paper. As we were sitting waiting, I just dey read my questions and answers, to calm myself down, cos i was pregnant! All those suspense and all that, I was like wow.. A man was asked the difference between a duplex and a normal building, the man just dey comot one kind answer, lol...Another man was asked the difference between a mechanical engineer and a structural engineer...the guy flopped! the two white ladies just denied them. I was called into window 6, and the white woman wey dey there just denied the person that just went out before I came in, omo, mosquito don nearly finish that woman, she just dey scratch, for my mind I said: Good, make you scratch out all those juju and everything wey my enemies don plan for me today. Although I was a bit tensed, but i regained strength! So the discussion was as follows: ------------End of Message and Vote of Thanks------------System Shut Down-------Beep! 6 Likes |

If you can back up your story then I don't think it's a problem if you tell the truth that you applied to 2 schools 1 in Australia. Also check the visa rules as you may be able to do a 1 month non degree course on a B1/B2 visa rather than a F1 visa. Confirm with the school if the course you are going for qualifies. Yjc07: |
