D update is done with a pc... Once u gt to d website, d first document u download is d steps for d upgrading... Just follow it

ive successfully upgraded, I mine too, but the android one stock firmware, has some missing features for the follow come Rom, like cast screen, and otg. Pls is u re still running on that infinix custom 5.1 help me check if the cast screen feature is present. Tnx

The notification lights colors has nothing to do with the phone tho.... This one you're saying it has been configured automatically... Most of these apps have options to set notification light colors... BBM is red by default, you can change it in the BBM app settings... Whatsapp is green by default, you can also change it in the Whatsapp settings ✔

You need to flash the device before running the update again. Log on to the Infinix Mobility Website and go to their support section to download the Official ROM (Android One) for your device pretty easy an once done you will get the update and smaller size because the ROM you will downloading will be the latest. All the best.

No I did not back up be a use I had carried out several factory resets so nothing of importance on the device. You may back up if you wish no harm in doing so.
