Hello house I need to contact the Allien office in Germany,i will be studying in TUM freising campus so am I to contact Freising Allien office or Munich Allien office.

a sponsorship letter is just 25 euros. Tell the person to go to the foreigners office, however, what is the invitation for? Study or visiting? Intentions must be clearly stated. Also, you must make sure you meet all requirements. Still give it a shot, fund your account and push things from all angles. Both your alien office, send a message to your school, just keep pushing bro, it's not over, I have seen unbelievable things happen on this thread, and yours doesn't even come close to the dark hopelessness that hovered before the miracle dawned it's light to vanish it.

I got to Germany on Thursday. Safe and sound ( should I add cold too?) A friend picked me and my 5 bags from the Dusseldorf intl airport straight to my house. Yesterday I was so busy because he had to show me how to use the bus, how to know what busses go where, stuff like that... I used Turkish airlines with a stopover at Istanbul. Congrats to all the people who just got approved Williamso, Oligee, the 9 days guy shocked shocked Oga Eke, na you next o

Kelvinpam, you don't pass through immigration with your bags. You check them in at the Airline Desk.
Unless you're talking about hand luggage which again doesn't have anything to do with immigration. Their business is only to deal with your passport and visa. Anything else is completely UNimmigrationAL smiley

There is nothing like basic travel allowance, at least I haven't heard of it. Although I know about the business travel allowance (BTA) For business men.
What I am sourcing for is the PERSONAL TRAVEL ALLOWANCE (PTA) For students like us. Someone should help me here from my last post

Great. I never said there was anything like Basic Travel Allowance. If you re-read the statement, it was - "I hope you're not talking about BTA - Basic Traveling Allowance. " which is totally different from "There is BTA - Basic Travel Allowance" undecided

Thanks alot Eke04seven for taking out time to reply..... the info are very much helpful, appreciate. .. i will sent the email to the addresses you sent 1st thing monday morning, cause my enrolment deadline is at hand, that's 13th of october and the date given to me for my enrolment is 6th. Of course, contact the Alien office at the TUM freising campus since that is where you'll be studying. Even if you try to reach the Munich Alien Office, I'm positive they'll give you the number for the concerned campus where you'll be taking your course.

Ask the guy who said I'm not sure those of us who contacted our respective alien's offices in different states are in the same boat, for now!

Let's see what happens next week though. We shall get it next week.

BTA is Basic Travelling Allowance.... PTA is a new concept though both of them means the same thing. It's like trying to express the same word in different ways. DanIndia was right after all. Ogagaejay is good at arguing what he has no knowledge about. Only the things he knows is correct, the ones he doesn't know are not correct......lol funny guy!

aibee01 easy on me ooh...did u say the shortest or longest? If the latter I'll say u are wrong. Flight to frankfurt and cologne has abt 9- 10 hours stop time.
All d dates I input there, same stop time...so I'll let odas to confirm that. The stop time should vary from city to city but I'm sure of d 2 cities above.
Where are my cologne brodas...any1 leaving 2nd week of october?

Let's see what happens next week though. We shall get it next week.
Sometimes, or even most times, sponsorship letters go through more scrutiny and it could take sometime.. The alien office of your destination will recheck the person sponsoring you to see if he/she meets their own criteria too, independent of what the issuing alien office decides upon.

For the person who asked about how much a sponsor should earn, we don talk am tire, 1500 euros per month but it doesn't stop there sometimes, some alien office will check your debts, mortgage etc, and also the number of dependants you have and do some evaluation to see if the sponsor can actually cater for an extra stomach before they can issue it.

Thirdly, buy a good bag if you intend to carry plenty luggage, make e no go spoil like my own and disgrace you for road
Fourthly, na so so rules rules rules I just de sign for here oh...hmmm
Fifthly, I don't think I buy that crap the German newspapers et al are selling about old peeps being many and those who are willing to work being few; I see many young young people for here... Anyways as time goes on, I go find out..
Sixthly, omoh the cold for here na die oh.. I no come sabi operate the heater for my room. Make I no turn to ice fish this night oooooh
Seventhly, please buy an EU socket when coming, I no buy and now I wan cry as my electronics go soon die
Eightly, GErmans for here like cigar die ... I no blame them sha..na to komot the cold..make I no go b like them oh
Ninthly, finding your way to your room by yourself from airport na die...I lost for road taya...if you get money, take cab or study and save the route on a map like google maps or Nokia maps before coming
tenthly and most importantly, omoh...German language knowledge is underrated oh.. See me na Garri and smoked fish I wan chop this night because I no no how to take go store go ask for even common bread..Una 2016, abeg learn the language oh..

I go post more tips later particularly for those wey wan use turkish (oboy I nearly miss my connecting flight because I de find free wifi lol)..No worry I go give una better better tips from MM Airport to Istanbul et al..

You talk everything wey my laziness no gree me talk. That cab own na the best thing. Even the EU charger, I had to borrow charger from my Bangladesh housemate till I got an adapter for my electronics.
Try learn the language ooooo!!! Yesterday na so so lost lost I dey na em I vex siddon on top stairs dey ask passerby if dem sabi speak English. Omo e just be like say I dey beg. Till I come see one geh wey direct me and I suspect it was even easy because I was near the school. Otherwise, I for hear am.
