People are not even realising that this is a well calculated master stroke that the pmb govt wud do all it takes to execute because saraki's conviction wud lay the groundwork of the hurricane soon to be unleashed on the corrupt.
PMB had apparently been in a dilemma on how to go about prosecuting his war on corruption seeing that all the alarming documents before him with overwhelming evidence on the sheer daylight robbery of the nations resources by the fisherman and his cronies couldn't go unpunished. How cud it now look if the war starts and 90% or more of those for prosecution are all members of the PDP, having been those in govt at the period in question in which all the grand heist took place?
Then comes along Olusola Saraki with all his flanks wide open: an utterly corrupt individual, never for once liked by the APC hierarchy,who naively openly betrayed the party,disrespected the VP, and in equal measure showed a contempt for the party.Some brilliant kitchen cabinet member of the govt must have given several halleluyahs to God for presenting someone like saraki and showed pmb how he cud solve all his anti corruption headaches and solve the saraki betrayah with a simple deft stroke:use the CCT to get Saraki convicted surely with d evidence that all govts have had b4 but lacked d guts to act upon and do it in record time because d CCT sessions are usually short lived. Then when Saraki,the number 3 man and a bonafide APC member is convicted,who would have d moral pedestal to shout when the tsunami starts hitting PDP members from all sides!
Some other person in the PDP camp might have read it this same way or got inside info that Saraki's eventual conviction and removal is just the groundwork for what will soon before them,hence Metuh's noise.Am also expecting that the PDP wud try all it can to stop saraki's travails,not because they care one hoot about him but because if he falls,the air have been taken off their sails and the party wud no longer have any moral authority to cry out when it wud surely start to rain stones on them.
So anyone that thinks the govt wud not get Saraki convicted and removed,probably even b4 the week runs out,does not understand the forces reined against him because the govt knows if Saraki escapes this,then pmb's war on corruption is dead on arrival and all those around him know that the BH and corruption wars are 2 battles PMB wud rather die than be alive to lose.
