There are hundreds, if not thousands, of religions in the world. I have however noticed that atheists pick on one particular religion. They are so bothered about it that they dedicate time to researching and writing articles about it. They get both passionate and emotional, even aggressive and defensive, where Christian matters are concerned. If I was convinced that something didn't exist, I would be indifferent to it.

My question is - if they are truly convinced that there is no God, what is it that worries them so much about Christianity, while they are indifferent to other religions?

1.They have failed to understand the power of the Holy Spirit who is capable to minister to your mind body and soul
2.they have also failed to understand the power of the devil who is also capable to minister to your mind body and soul.

If you can't decode those two above then you are the most suitable prey to the devil

When they talk about Christianity, they believe they point finger at all God believing religions, in which Christianity is the best example..

Simple.

My brother no mind dem, they are fake atheists. A real Atheist will be indifferent to Christianity as well as other religions since they they dont believe dat God exists. If i hear dat there are atheists in Naija!!!!!

But the atheists on Nairaland are just wannabe atheists Deep down they know dat God exists but they just want to show themselves here. If they are involved in an accident, the first word dat will come out of their mouth is JESUS!!!! All of them know dat Jesus is Lord. They are just doing gra-gra here.

Lemme tell you,d reason it seems atheists talk more abwt christianity is because its one of the most popular religions in the world especially in Nigeria and christians like shoving their religion down everybody's throat,mind you there are ex muslims,buddhists e.t.c... It just depends on the religion u followed before u started thinking.. Besides when you think more about christianity,u would find out that hell concept is just a story to keep y'all in faith,once u die ur dead,so nothing about life after here is worth thinking..

Man can never stay void or empty, He has to be occupied by a spirit. Every spirit knows Who the true God is and so really atheists cant help it but to speak against the true God.

I challenged some of them recently to balance their hate for God. That may be the reason you'll see 1 or 2 recent threads concerning islam and muslims in his profile. First, there is no single day, I mean No single day that a Christian mo.ron or two does not invade my private space to preach to me.
Now, if a Christian feels the right to accost me at every opportunity to preach his stone-age myths, I should also have same right to repudiate, dismantle and mock same stone-age myths. It is Fair game.

Also, As a Nigerian atheist, I cannot bury my face in the sand and ignore the destructive trajectory of the pentecostal filth that saturates and suffocates reason, IQ and the moral landscape of my dear country.

I am very honest when I Say that I view pentecostal christianity as a pestilence, a very toxic waste product, the equivalent of depleted uranium.

Saturday Evening : My two neighbours are trying to outdo each other, one gang screaming Fire Fire, the other gang increase the praise and worship volume. Me the atheist trying to work on some office assignment or enjoy a simple weekend does not complain.

Sunday : RCCG, DUNAMIS and two other unpopular churches all competing for the loudest noise maker with their speakers in the morning just few houses away from. Me the atheist, keeps quiet no complain. JW bring their wahala later in the day, I patiently listen to their nonsense while my neighbours chase them away.

Monday to Friday: I am woken up by the loud speaker of the muslim calling for prayers, followed by the fanatic christian preacher who goes from prosperity,hell fire to hateful comments about the President. The day I decide to get to work without my car, there's always one christian prosperity preacher in the Bus. Not to forget the office christian fellowship crew.

Now, imagine this repeated for 52 weeks in a year, yet someone say atheists are concerned about christianity?

The point of my article is to highlight the fact that contrary to what they say, atheists sre very interested in Chrisianity because they know that there is a God, that Jesus is real. Therefore, the earlier they stop deceiving themselves, the better.
