khassy:Lemme do a quick analysis of the little I know. RADAJDORMS: Although beautiful on the outside, the lamentations of her inhabitants aren't on the metrics. Too much people(about 30 rooms), Non-co-operating and proud Landlady, who leaves you all to your ill-luck once you pay. Now, you're left with Sir-k(The agent with no solution. Guess they've kicked him now tho). You'ld be paying 126k and you'ld hardly have water. The capacity of the borehole is too small with respect to the population. For those who really want to be serious, I won't advise RADAJ. The noise from those guy's music is sickening. Some guys even smoke there. Eeeew! You'ld be deceived of a standby generator when you're about paying; of course you'ld be provided with one, Alas, it's a Diesel-Engine plant. You know what that means don't you? The cost of diesel Is sky-rocketting. Each room would have to pay a whooping amount of 3k Monthly to re-fuel the plant. Of course, students would pay during the early days of resumption. But, what of those days of famine? You'ld be left with a non-functional, diesel-empty plant. Now, considering the apalling condition of power supply at Tanke, you'ld be left with little or no water always, leaving you to the eyes of mockery of the 70k hostel beside, as you'ld always have to lend ''fetcher'' from them and even go to their artesian well at times. LET THOSE WHO HAVE EARS, HEAR. |

Re: Unilorin Utme 2015/2016 Aspirants by Temmi001: 7:00am On Sep 21, 2015 |
khassy:LAAF DORMS: With such features as a football viewing centre for the lovers of soccer and a stand-by mosque for muslims, the aforementioned hostel remains on the ivy league of hostels at Tanke. I do not know much about LAAF, but i know its not the type GideonG is looking for as it is just TOO populated. With such regulations as one per room (most flouted by guys), and a separate male-female hostel (like our conventional boarding house), LAAF shouldn't be an option for those on the outlook for creme de la crème Lodge. |

Re: Unilorin Utme 2015/2016 Aspirants by khassy(m): 7:11am On Sep 21, 2015 |
Temmi001: I beg to differ talking about population does it come any closer to K-Dorms phase1 &2 talking about the separate male /female hostel... that's good for SERIOUS MINDED peeps (not my type sha) the only thing there should be the availability of a mosque but anyone coming from the north I think shouldn't have a problem with that the only bad part is the non existing social life |

khassy:DEJI MUSTAPHA: A fourteen-block hostel with five rooms per block is not far from the 72-combatant batallion residence at Ojo barracks, Lagos. Needless to say, it's not the very posh hostel. Just a regular hostel along Dansaaki estate where those useless touts strip you off your belongings from 7:30pm. |

khassy:COLONY: Heard it's for minister's children. But I feel it's overhyped sha. Considering the Distance from oke-odo. You'ld always be covered by dust before getting home. Besides, you'ld need to keep 100 bucks aside for bike daily. Now, what's the difference with those peeps coming from challenge? Well, as earlier stated, it's for Ministers' kids; they possess those ferarri kind of rides. If you're one, colony is for you! |

Some more posh hostels. AL-JAZEERA: A five star hostel along MFM. Fully air-conditioned and provided with a satelite dish. Well, I don't really think you need these. They're more like frivolities for now. Howbeit, if you're in the pursuit of mundane fame, get it! There's futility and pointlessness in chasing these(for now) anyway. There's one new hostel before oke-odo sha. It's painted brown. Very posh!. Swimming pool, heated? Heated! Living room? Marple wall floor ''... And a new lamborghini 6526cc'' (don't take this serious, Just kidding) 135k(agent fee inclusive). All utilities provided, including a wardrobe. Just bring you clothes, foodstuffs and Matress(es). |
