Hello house, is true that before kids could be granted visa we should have secured school for them in SA? They are 3 and 1 and half years old respectively. And also concerning my own case, I was given admission for PhD in UCT but prefer to stay off-campus. Do I need to secure accommodation before applying for visa? Thanks |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by samtol4(m): 4:17pm On Sep 13, 2015 |
meagainstdem:You don't need to secure accommodation before visa application but u need to submit proof of accommodation(where u intend to stay doing your study) along with other relevant docs..Kids don't need to secure admission .Get your visa first then apply for the kids . |

Good day everyone, I hope am not derailing the topic but what's the total cost of securing a visa to SA and most importantly what are the opportunities there street and other wise? Because I noticed too many people trop in south Africa but I want to be sure there's a future for one there before joining the visa processing, thank you. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by yinksob002: 10:35am On Sep 16, 2015 |
It depends on your purpose for travelling to SA. If you intend visiting, I will advise you just visit and come back to Naija. For studies, you stand a better chance of getting a job after studies but generally, SA is tough to be honest with you. My advice is that you have a clear plan of what you intend to do in SA before venturing into any form of application. I wish u the best. goodlife5659: 1 Like |

yinksob002:. Good day bro, I've been on this thread for quite some time since I gained admission to university of Pretoria. The funny thing is have been hearing so much about this SAQA but I gained admission without using it, when I got my admission letter from the school it was stated clearly my department and one other didn't require SAQA's evaluation. What I really want to know now is, when I'm applying for a visa should I still get the SAQA done before applying when it was stated in my admission letter that it isn't needed? Thanks bro |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by yinksob002: 8:17pm On Sep 17, 2015 |
It is true that some schools don't request for SAQA before offering admission to students. However, it forms part of the requirements for SA visa application. Since it was expressly stated in your admission letter, you should be able to do so without SAQA. To play safe, i will advise that you find time to visit the embassy to know if they can allow you to submit without it. That will save you from last minute stress and hassles. All the best shakz: |

It is the most recognised HMO in South Africa and has a long standing reputation as far as medical scheme in SA is concerned. Other health schemes are equally good too but Momentum takes the lead. deolama: |

Mean you are the best...abeg go Canal Walk (Mr Price shop), pick any jeans of your size, I pay when I conclude the process - payment of deposit: the high commission demands repatriation deposits just in case or a letter of guarantee from your government. What is this deposit amount? |
