blessedtwins u are in my prayer.I am just short of words. start praying God should ease his mind bfor ur delivery. Dont think of seperatn at all. Just play along with him till delivery. If there is anyone in his family dat he so much respect,u can inform d person bfor delivery so that he or she can talk to him.
pls dont be depressed bcs of d adorable in ur womb. Try and find sometin dat can make u happy doing. u just need to be happy. #e-hug#

Blessedtwins, this thing I want to say, please dont vex for me. I have tried to not say it buh I cant help myself. Pls forgive me if I misunderstand you.
I think the reason your dh is so adamant and unbending is because you have leftover fight.
My dh also gets unnecessarily stubborn and insists on his way only. Most times he wants to see how far I will dare him. You know all these "do me,I do you" fights.
What I do is backtrack and try to fix the underlying issues we have before I now tackle what I want.
I have only seen 2 cases where a man had so much intense dislike for his inlaws
---- the 1st was because the wife told him so many awful things about her family while they were dating. She told him all the dark secrets of the family and exposed the weakness of each family member until the guy had zero respect for them. Ofcourse it backfired! Even the mother was banned from visiting. The sisters sneak to visit and the children have to be left behind whenever she visits her side of the family.
------- the other man was shown shege by his inlaws, whenever they visit, they show blatant disregard for him and his ways, they ridicule him to his face and disrespect him sha. This was due to how the wife had washed him in their presence. The man revolted by totally alienating himself from her side of the family. He gave it back to them in large chunks.
My advice....go back and treat the underlying issues.
I am neither pro or anti- divorce but splitting from this man is not the only solution and it wont stop him from being his stubborn self.
Being stubborn, obstinate and hardheaded is not a crime. It destroys relationship but some pple use it as a defense mechanism. To protect themselves from hurt.

My husband has vehemently refused to listen to any plea abt getting a maid to help when my baby arrives.he insists he will do the omugwo himself or ask his younger brothers to come over for it.
Pls it sounds ridiculous but that's how unreasonable he is.My dad said I should come over to his house a few days to but I am thinking moving out to a fresh apartment.
This decision is against the backdrop of how much abuse I have withstood.

Hi dear! I would rather advice you let your hubby do the omugwo cos me no fancy all these house help things dem. Watch him do the omugwo and lets see if the abuse will continue.

I went back and read your posts to get a little history. If divorce/separation is on your mind because you and your family are unhappy then make a plan and work towards it. I get the vibe that you are severely emotionally abused,no human being deserves that, especially in the name of marriage. Do what's best for both you and your children. It's a huge responsibility but unfortunately that's the card life has dealt you, and you have to be strong. Marriage is not the be all and end all, it never was, it never will be. They try to deceive us about t how our tradition doesn't condone it but that's a lie, women have left their husbands since time immemorial.

Dream dream dream dream dreeeeeaaaaaaam! If you like chop all the pineapple wey dey market, baby will only come when baby is ready. Not a second before. On the other side, chopping too much pineapple will only make baby have a sweet tooth
